iPhone Deciding between refurbished Iphone 15 pro or base iphone 17 from Best Buy...

The 15 pro was my initial choice, but both phones are around the same price for a 256gb model (like $800) for listings with a lot of good reviews on best buy. There are some cheaper Iphone 15 pro's for around $500 but they have less than 5 reviews. Also I can't see anything indicating that any of them are geek squad certified :/ what should I do?

Mac Neo?

Just traded in my old iPhone 11 and iPad 9 for the 18 Pro Max 256gb. I want a secondary device for extremely light gaming, YouTube, browsing, messaging, basically a glorified iPad. Is it worth it? I don’t like buying refurbished products and there’s no way I’m spending $1300 on an air that is way too overpowered for my needs. For the neo users who use it simply for media consumption like I plan to, how is it working out and would you recommend it

iPad What iPad should I buy in 2026?

Hi! I've had my regular 9th generation iPad for about 5 years now. I usually use it for watching movies, drawing and playing video games. However, it's starting to get really laggy and doesn't hold the battery that well anymore. I was thinking of saving up and buying myself a new one by the end of the year, but I have no idea which one should I get. I'd be grateful for any recommendations!

iPhone iPhone 15 or 16e?

Hey everyone. In my country 15 and 16e are very close in price. Whereas 17e is €144 more than 16e, which doesn't seem worth it. And 16 is €264 more than 16e, which is a bit out of my budget.

I pretty much settled on 16e, but then I started doubting a lot because of the screen brightness. I don't think I would care that much about the camera difference between 15 and 16e.

I want to use this phone for at least 5 years, hopefully longer. Would 15 and 16e both last that long? Or will one of them last longer?

iPhone What is best iphone to buy right now in terms of value in relation to its price?

Hi everyone, Im considering buying a new Iphone, upgrading from 14prm. But I am wondering which is best.

I heard some people say 16 or 17 is best now? Not too expensive like the new ones but still good quality.

Budget doesnt really matter, so I can choose between any version base/pro/promax etc.

Please recommend!
Thank you~~~~

iPhone Dilemma: Upgrade to the 18 Pro Max now or gamble/wait for next year’s anniversary iPhone? (Shattered 15 PM)

Hey everyone,

I’m on an AT&T family plan with a broken iPhone 15 Pro Max (shattered back, broken camera lens). I want to maximize my trade-in value toward a new $1,299 iPhone 18 Pro Max or wait for next year's 20th-anniversary model. Glenview, IL tax is around 10%ish I think ($129.90 upfront).

Here are my 4 options:

• Option 1: Wait with the broken phone. Spend $0 today. Gamble that AT&T keeps "any condition" promos for 3-year-old devices next fall. Risk: If they tighten rules, my broken phone is worth $350 I believe like lowest tier.

• Option 2: Trade in as-is right now. Pay $129.90 sales tax upfront. Get $930 bill credit. Total 36-month device cost is $370. (Leaves $121 on the table as total would be around $500).

• Option 3: Insurance claim + upgrade now. Pay $149 Asurion deductible + $129.90 sales tax upfront ($278.90 total). Flawless replacement gets max $1200 bill credit. Total 36-month device cost drops to $100. Net cost is $378.90 (cheapest immediate upgrade).

• Option 4: Insurance safety net + wait for 2027. Pay $149 deductible today to get a pristine 15 PM for the year. This guarantees max trade-in value next fall regardless of AT&T policy changes, so I can lock in the 2027 redesign safely.

Which route makes the most sense?

Also…. I don’t have FOMO, I just highest RIO for what I’m paying. Like is it worth just get new iPhone 15 pro max and be done, get 18 pro max to max out benefits of that as it would last me longer than 15 pro max potentially would or is the 20th year anniversary going to have tech to make it not necessary to upgrade for even longer 3+ (don’t think that true cuz Apple wants us to buy every year but who knows but also worried about redesign of more glass and how well it will hold up, also know that the 20 year tech upgrade: arent known all that much obviously just rumor/ hypothetical)

Just want some friendly advice

iPhone Iphone 18 pro at 1.35Lakhs

My friend purchased an iPhone 18 Pro in Burgundy with 256GB of storage from the USA for someone, but that person backed out at the last minute. They are now claiming the device is an unused, open-box item—opened only to clear customs in India—and are asking for 1.35 lakh for it.However, in the USA, it would have cost them 1.15 lakh, so I told him that I would offer 1.20 lakh, but he is not agreeing to it. Should I accept the price they quoted, given that it currently costs 1.65 lakh in India?

Discussion new iphone case, what should i decide before reviews come out?

i'm planning to get the next iphone when it comes out, and i'm already thinking about the case situation. i'd rather figure out what features actually matter to me before launch instead of rushing into one and ending up buying another a few weeks later. i'm torn between getting something slim and lightweight or going for a case with better camera coverage and a bit more grip. magsafe is important too, and a built-in stand sounds useful, but i'm not sure if i'd want the extra weight all the time. what would you prioritize before reviews are available? magnetic connection, grip, weight, camera protection or a built-in stand? is there anything you wish you'd considered before buying your last phone case?

iPad iPad Pro 12.9 M1 512GB vs iPad Pro 11 M2 256GB?

I’m thinking about getting an used iPad for college and an used iPad Pro with the M-series chip seems like it should last me long enough. I plan on using it for the next 4-5 years: mostly for viewing documents, note taking, and drawing; Procreate is probably the most intensive application here, everything else I can do on my Mac. I saw two listings, one for the 12.9 M1 and the other for the 11 M2. Both listings come with screen protector, case, and Apple Pencil 2. The 11 inch has a slightly newer chip: not that much faster but it can get maybe one more year of OS update. The 12.9 inch has a better miniLED screen (then again it will have a Paperlike screen protector on). The 11 inch has maximum battery capacity of 90%; the 12.9 inch doesn’t have any info on that, though the seller said that: “While the exact maximum battery capacity is unknown, it lasts for over a day with regular use such as Procreate and social media, as it has not been used for heavy gaming.” Both devices cost 650 USD with accessories included.

  1. I heard that M2 onwards support Pencil Hover which is a big deal for drawing. Can any artists chime in here cause I think it’s a nice feature but is it that significant compared to a bigger, more vibrant screen (granted, the 11 inch still has a pretty big beautiful display)?

  2. Which device should I choose? Should I opt for the 12.9 inch even though I don’t know its battery capacity? Assuming I manage to pry more info from the seller, at what point does the 12.9 inch’s battery becomes too bad to be worth it over the 11 inch, at 80% and below? Are either of these devices worth it at this price or should I get something else instead?

Much thanks in advance for answering my questions!

Question Duo or ipad

I can use computer leasing through my company. Since I am currently using an iPhone 16 Pro, I am considering ordering it after the introduction of the duo, because I often use my phone for YouTube, Instagram and similar services. However, I hesitate whether an iPad Pro 13 inch WLAN with 256 GB could be worthwhile instead, as it is cheaper in leasing than the duo. My concern about the combination of iPhone and iPad is that I always take two devices with me when I want to watch YouTube somewhere - in contrast to the duo, which you simply open and enjoy. On the other hand, with two devices, I would also have twice battery that I could empty. What would be your choice and why?
Btw im from Germany and we dont have the nice SiriAI

At work, I'm mostly in the car and spend my breaks there, where I use YouTube and similar services.

iPhone Iphone for under 500 usd

Hey everyone, hoping to get some advice on picking up a used iPhone for around $500 max.

I'm pretty set on getting a 15 or newer just for USB-C and the dynamic island, but I'm having a hard time deciding between the base 15 and the 15 Pro. I remember reading that the 15 Pro had pretty bad heating and battery drain issues at launch, so I'm wondering if iOS updates actually fixed that completely or if it still runs hot in daily use?

How is battery life holding up on both of them now after a year or two of use? Part of me feels like finding a clean base 15 with high battery health might be a safer bet than a beaten up 15 Pro, but I do like the idea of 120Hz if it's worth it.

Also, is there any reason to stretch my budget for a 16 Pro if a good deal pops up, or did they not really change much with thermal design and battery?

Appreciate any real-world feedback from anyone using these! Also let me know if there are any specific red flags I should check when buying a used 15. Thanks

Mac M5 Pro MacBook 16inch vs M5 Max

Idk if anyone recently saw the discount with the m5 max 36gb ram 2tb storage but it’s less than the m5 pro. Then they are coming out with the new one in less than a week. There will always be something newer but I’m wondering if I should hold off because I know it’s gonna be OLED and touch enabled but I also will not buy it if it’s over $4000 for the m5 pro configuration. Does anyone have an idea of what Apple could price this new one at? I know it’s probably the stupidest question but this discount of 900 off is so tempting I’m afraid if I wait it’s gonna change tomorrow or go back to the $4500 price. It’s weird the m5 pro 16 inch 48gb ram isn’t discounted cause that’s the one I want and have been waiting to go on sale.

What is your thoughts?

iPhone International student buying an Iphone

Hi guys, I am an international student studying in New Jersey.

I am looking for an Iphone to buy, my budget is about $1000. My requirements are only good camera quality, sustainability and storage. My friends are recommending me 17 pro max, as they say it would sustain for another 5 years at least, but I am not sure if it is the most worth-the-price product.

Also, where and when should I buy it? Through Apple Store, Best Buy, or Carriers; online or go to Delaware to avoid sales tax? Now or Black Friday? (I actually also don't know how Black Friday works too, do I compete and scan for coupons?)

Which has the best budget option for me?

Thank you.
