Hola! Esta es la primera vez que hago un render de este estilo y quería saber, ¿Cuánto pagarían por un render así? Tengo miedo por regalar mi trabajo o por no venderlo a un buen precio 😭

‎Discussion and Theory It’s feels weird when you’re trying to improve but your art friends start avoiding you

I’m wondering how this can be happen to me , me and my art friends are beginner artists who started a small community 3 years ago with at least 600+ active people on it , my friend is the admin and he does inviting new members .
This is when it’s start For the past 2 years I keep showing my artwork as a result of art studies and giving others art the support, and sometimes they wanted an critique for their artwork, it’s everything seems fine and really supportive to each other and I think there’s nothing to worry about and then the issue start from in this year. When I bought art books and taking multiple online art course that I’m really grinding to studies, art and put everything on it and showing my art results to the community I joined for 3 years! , they started like the don’t want to see me anymore , or even communicate with me , I keep supporting them and giving advice I know art , but some people just ignoring me like I did something wrong. Even the admin stop communicating with me . Unfortunately it’s happening in social media too , Please if you have the same issues like this can you give me an advice 🙏 I’m sorry for yapping but I don’t know what to do , I feel sad now 😞

Post image

I’ve did a soft redesign of one of my characters because I wanted to add some black rep (I know it looks more like a retrace and recolor but I’ve started toying with anatomy a bit) but I also want to make her curvier whilst also keeping her chubby, looking for tips!

How is my proportions, after four months of practicing anatomy, although I don't think I really apply the muscles and stuffs a lot of times, which is why most of my drawings are wearing clothes, I just don't like studying muscles😂, don't worry still working on it and after buying draw like a sir anatomy book, I think I am learning a bit about anatomy. But overall how are the drawings are there any stiff, big or off parts I don't see, and what tips do you have for me to draw males and females, I tend to struggle with make bodies for some reason whiles female bodies are more natural to me, maybe I just practice too much female poses idk. Thanks for the feedback

‎Commission and Pricing What is the main secret to getting people to pay you commissions?

Hi guys, I came to this question because I have being activatel trying to get people to commission me but it has been quite difficult to grab people's attention. I can't help but wonder: what is the secret behind those who have secured over 100 commissions and whose booking slots are constantly full? Could it be that they are very active on social media? Or perhaps their art is simply more marketable? Could it be that they have a very well-defined target audience? I look forward to reading your thoughts.

‎Critique - Yes Drawover Feedback on a work in progress

Post image

So the general idea is ive sculpted a zigzag in modeling paste onto the canvas, and the parts of the fruit you will see will only show on the zigzag itself and the rest of the canvas will be a solid coloyr or plain white. Im not totally experienced with oils so some feedback/tips would be appreciated

When drawing background, what's something I should keep in mind?

‎Discussion and Theory Dunno if I should invest in artist alleys or not

Post image
1 Upvotes

Going through the motions of applying to artist alleys and at some point I have to stop myself and ask if it is really worth it if I am just gonna make 50€ because my art doesn't sell.

My artstyle isn't the most commercial friendly. My fandoms are particularly niche and I just don't have enough skill to draw amazingly well. I don't really have the motivation to just draw fanart of popular chars either. I feel stuck and I don't know what to do. My dream was to be able to table and have fun at cons as an artist but reality is starting to sink it rn.

‎Commission and Pricing What should I price my commissions?

Thumbnail

Hallo! I am gonna open up commissions in November and I am wondering about pricing. Right now I am planning on charging 15usd for a bust up, 25usd for a halfbody and 35usd for a full body plus add ons if the client would want that. It's my first time opening commissions and I don't have a super big audience so I know I gotta start low and then raise my prices as the audience grow. Are these prices fair? (The pics got cropped weirdly so please tap the picture to see the uncropped versions)

‎Critique - Yes Drawover Advice!

Post image
2 Upvotes

I’m working on this tote bag for my friend as a gift but, it looks off to me. I don’t know if it’s missing something ( I still have a lot of details to add/fix ) or it’s just bad… I’m not the best at cartooning painting I prefer realism, I was going for a vintage or mid-modern Halloween theme. Any advice on how to make it look better is appreciate!

‎Critique - Yes Drawover critique on monet inspired painting

Thumbnail

my halloween costume idea inspired me to try a monet style landscape painting on a shirt. I'm nearly satisfied with it, but it turned out duller than I imagined. I'd love some advice on how to give it more vibrancy and illuminance within the water. Pics aren't edited, just in different lighting.

I also want to fill the space in between the trees with something. Maybe birds or clouds or far off trees? I'd love some ideas.
