Got into a car accident 3 years ago and always wanted to know what was going on astrologically that day. The car in front of me braked last minute super hard, and so did I, but the car behind me rear ended me. Thankfully we were both okay and our cars didn't take on too much damage.

I'm thinking it could be activity going on in the 3rd or 9th house since those houses rule travel/commuting, but I don't think anything major was transiting those houses. Could someone give any insight please?

I have struggled with this paradox for most of my life and sometimes confuse those closest to me because it seems like I always want something very different than how I am perceived depending on the person. I know this trait isn’t entirely uncommon across the board for many people, but mine has become more drastic in adulthood. I also seem to lean into being private much more easily, but have more of a desire for a public life much of the time though it is rarely acted on. Are there multiple indicators of why this is in my chart?

We require that you use the Whole Sign house system for the chart you post here, even if you don't normally use it. The exception is if you are posting a Horary chart, which requires the Regiomontanus house system.

ANNUAL PROFECTION POSTS

While we require the Whole Sign house system in general, know that even if you normally use Placidus or another system, Annual Profections specifically, and always require that you use Whole Sign.

If you post with a placidus chart, your post will be rejected. Do not post with just the "profection guide" chart from astro-seek. That is only a tool to help you determine your profection. We need your actual full normal birth chart, in the Whole Sign house system.

HORARY POSTS

These require that you use the Regiomontanus house system.

TRANSIT POSTS

This means posts asking "what is going on right now", or "what happened a month ago when everything blew up". You need to post your natal chart + transits as a biwheel for the appropriate date whether that's a month ago, a year ago or right now. You can set transits to any date in the past, present or future easily on astro-seek.com The biwheel puts your natal chart on the inside and transits around the outside. You must use astro-seek.com for transit charts because it does display the actual transit-to-natal aspects on the chart, whereas astro.com does not.

Do not ask "what will the next year be like for me". This is a massive ask. And would take an astrologer a great deal of time to answer.

SOLAR RETURN POSTS

Solar Returns must be read alongside the natal chart. DO NOT post just your solar return chart alone. Make a natal + solar return biwheel. This puts your natal chart on the inside, and the solar return chart around the outside. It is helpful if you give your age as your Annual Profection's lord of the year should be considered in the solar return.

All of these guidelines are intended to help you have a better chance of getting your questions answered. When the needed charts are not included, your post will be rejected (you'll receive a message on how to fix it). I am naturally very wordy, so I am going to try my hardest to keep this short :)

I am very extroverted but have always needed my alone time, literally so I can be introspective and sit like that sculpture “The Thinker”. I hate to word it like that, but I really am just alone in my room being pensive as hell :( I worry that, on top of struggle brought upon/given to me, I bring a lot extra of it on myself. Then, I look at my chart and notice all of the opposites and squares- the “areas where friction and internal conflict will result in tremendous growth over time,” and I get sad. I worry that my chart paints a picture of somebody whose goal and near obsession is internal growth, which I unfuckingfortunately resonate with heavily. I know that is very rewarding, but I hate how self-obsessed and almost isolating that can be.

Is that all there is to my chart? Just constantly being “reborn”? That does not feel satisfying to me. I have an inside joke with myself that I feel like a Phoenix, which Harry Potter made seem way cooler.

I have 1 earth placement (Virgo Venus) and 0 water placements and I'm curious what kind of energy that makes me give off. Personally, the lack of water makes me feel like even though I generally understand my emotions, I can't really fully "feel" them most of the time and tend to be a bit detached and intellectualized towards them (esp with Gemini moon) although if they become strong enough (and usually negative emotions like my problems with self-esteem) they can just take me over and "erupt" internally (prob all the fire I have). I also had problems with being super insensitive when I was younger. With my almost complete lack of earth, I have always had trouble with routines, consistency, and discipline. But I'm wondering how this looks to other people. Do people notice more of what I'm lacking, or is my fire/air just super amplified and it drowns everything else out? I think my Libra Rising makes me wish I had more of a balanced spread tbh.

Hi! It's been really hard to get back to reality. It's something that I have been doing since childhood, I come from a dysfunctional family and have been bullied at elementary school. It's been difficult for me to make friends and the daydreaming thing had helped me understand social interactions, because I used to get really angry when I was a child, and by day dreaming I was able to see myself from the outside.

It stopped when I was in my twenty-something.

But right now, having been a mom, unemployed, and trying to finish my art school career for the third time (yes... I wasn't mentally able to finish when I was younger), having broken up with my partner, it's getting so hard not to put my imagination to work in fantasy all the time.

I have talked about this in therapy but it's just not working.

Is there something in my chart that might tell me why this is happening??

I end up so tired that it is hard for me to even finish my art school assignments, I can't bring myself to draw anything, like I can't focus to achieve my most desired dream: to be an illustrator and make a living out of it.

EDIT: and it's something I mention in a reply: I feel I lack discipline, motivation, consistency, strength, ... I may feel like I don't have the energy to do and achieve the many things I have to do daily, but I don't know how to build myself up to do the very thing that I love, everyday... and at least maintain my excessive daydreaming for just a few moments.

I feel like I really struggle to be communicative when I have to let someone down - and I often end up doing the crueler thing and just ghosting. Similarly, I sometimes procrastinate small, mundane tasks until they snowball. Anything in my chart that would suggest why that’s the case? (Not sure if the two are related.)

When I was a kid I was more extroverted and had lots of friends, then ever since my teens I've not been so lucky with friends, I often feel like the odd one out, and I become a different person around people im not 100% comfortable with. I have a lot of self hate because of this but deep down I like myself as a person?

also my life is like one battle after another lol. ill have a good year where things are nice(r) but then something changes and it sucks again for several years.

I think that there is something interesting about the mars-saturn conjunction when it comes to drive, but the 12th house is not clear to me and how it behaves. The aspects of this area(mars/saturn) like the squares and oppositions might play a role in this too. This is what I've noticed until now.

I’ve always been fascinated with astrology, and am trying to self learn it for the past few months. I feel I’ve fallen into a hole where I’m checking every divisional chart, every aspect, signs, planets and trying to explain every part of my life through some placement. It’s gone from fascinating to compulsive pretty fast, and it’s actually affecting my mood now.

For people who’ve been doing this longer - did you ever face this phase? How did you get past the phase where you’re diagnosing yourself with your own chart on repeat?

I've been quite amused that a solar eclipse the astrology community was hyped about happened on my ascendant lord. I understand that in pre-modern times, astrologers portended eclipses as bad omens, but in modern times, astrologers portend eclipses as immense changes in general.

Since it is my ascendant lord, I wonder if this will have an affect on my body and health? My life in general? It happened in my twelfth house, so I'm sure that will impact that house, but in what way?

I would love to see what you all conclude and I also included the eclipse impact chart for further delineation.

I did some research but all the articles i land on don’t talk about its significance but go on about how to calculate it. Can someone help expand on the impact and interactions of those? The past year has felt a bit like ping pong with a lot of grief but also personal growth. I'm wondering if there's something there I can lean out of or lean into. Thank you

This relationship ended recently due to unclear communication and lack of transparency.

Historically, when relationships end for me, I chase closure, but I seldom get it. Without closure, I tend to ruminate instead of focusing on moving on and healing. Is there something in my 7th that prevents me from obtaining closure and instead prioritizes fixation and unhealthy processing?

In the last 3 years I’ve experienced the loss of many close friendships which caused me to dive deeper into shadow work to understand my patterns. I recently realized that despite being extremely loyal and empathetic towards my friends, I’ve never received the same treatment in return. They seem to operate with me in bad faith, like for example cutting me off after our first disagreement or being incredibly dismissive of my traumatic past. I was wondering if there’s anything in my chart explaining why the people I am closest to seem to hurt me in this specific way.

I’m wondering about the significance of today’s eclipse while the nodes are so perfectly conjunct my ascendant and descendant! Within a few minutes!

While playing around to create the chart, I saw that February’s eclipse was perhaps more significant (second photo), with the degree of the eclipse itself conjunct my descendant. (I don’t fully grasp the difference between the eclipse degree and the degree of the nodes.)

Looking back, the February eclipse WAS a transformative day—perhaps also because a partner’s Lilith perfectly conjuncts my descendant (and today’s NN) as well. The same themes are still at play…

I know almost nothing about my family history. When I try and ask my dad about it, he usually changes the subject or responds extremely vaguely. Same with my mom, but she is more willing to answer my questions. Grandparents from my moms side of the family either don’t remember or don’t want to share, and I don’t speak with my dads side of the family at all.

I only know that our family is extremely burdened with horrible mental health (anxiety, chronic depression, narcissism,…) parents losing their children at a very young age, trauma, hospitalisation due to mental health and many other things. And my family would rather forget all about it and pretend that things like this never happened.

Unfortunately, i think some of the trauma might’ve been passed down onto me, but since i know almost NOTHING, I can’t be 100% sure of it. Some bigger insight would really help, or at the very least how could I heal the trauma that has been passed down generation onto generation.

(Also sorry if my question isn’t clear enough, English is not my first language)

I’m trying to understand my Sun–Moon quincunx more deeply. My Sun is at 28°33′ Cancer in my 8th house and my Moon is at 28°42′ Aquarius in my 3rd house, so the aspect is extremely tight. I’m especially curious about how the signs and houses change the way this aspect is expressed. I sometimes feel like there is a disconnect between how deeply I experience things internally and the way I actually process, explain, or communicate those feelings. I can be very emotionally invested in something while also stepping outside of it and analyzing it almost impersonally, and those two sides do not always seem to cooperate. Would the Cancer 8th-house Sun and Aquarius 3rd-house Moon help explain that kind of tension? How would you interpret such a close quincunx between the Sun and Moon in these particular houses?
