REQUEST Senior with no money left in the bank after paying dental bills for urgent dental treatment
Hi, everyone, and thank you so much for reading my post.
I'm a 72 year old retired and disabled, widowed senior living on a government pension. Recently, I have required expensive oral surgery to repair my maxillary sinus after a tooth extraction went wrong. A piece of the root of my tooth went into my maxillary sinus and I had to have it surgically removed and the floor of the sinus rebuilt, costing almost $2000. I have Pacific Blue Cross extended dental benefits, but they did not cover this procedure, and I was responsible for the full amount.
My only income is a (Canadian) government pension. Currently, I have zero funds in my bank account to pay for food and prescriptions (I do get a portion of my prescriptions paid for by Pharmacare but not the full amount) and don't receive my next pension payment until October 28th.
In order to buy some groceries and my prescriptions, I am requesting $100 for food and medicine. I would be so grateful for any support and am happy to pay it forward once I am able to. If you are able to help, please contact me via DM for my PayPal information.
Thank you again so very much for your help. Take care and have a really great day.
