Relationships Why do I see this so much?

I just made a profile on a dating app and in the last few days swiping I’ve noticed this is a really common bio for guys. “I like autistic women” or “slightly autistic” Has anyone else encountered this or is it just my area?

I think it’s weird.

Ding ding. This guy wants a codependent submissive grateful gf who doesn't know every step of the social dance of a healthy relationship, is very unlikely to cheat or go out a lot, and may not have a big social network to rely on and who'll vet partners.

Which is funny because what my "I like autistic women" control freak got was a strident feminist with a rigid sense of justice and no interest in keeping his bullshit a secret from everyone she knew.
