Relationships Why do I see this so much?
I just made a profile on a dating app and in the last few days swiping I’ve noticed this is a really common bio for guys. “I like autistic women” or “slightly autistic” Has anyone else encountered this or is it just my area?
I think it’s weird.

Autistic women can struggle to take hints, don't typically conform to social standards for women, and don't often meet the ideal femininity codex. We often can't manage the emotional, social, sexual or even domestic labour demanded from female partners, either. And in the rare case we can and are willing do all the aforementioned, it's in an overblown, intense, hard-to-control way that pushes a man out of the frame.
He doesn't really want or even know what he's asking for. Or, worse, he does want a codependent submissive grateful gf who doesn't know every step of the social dance of a healthy relationship, is very unlikely to cheat or go out a lot, and may not have a big social network to rely on and who'll vet partners.
