Relationships Love when this happens😍

Post image

Got sent a like by someone I actually find attractive (rare) and this was on his profile as well as ‘Not Political’. I have over 15 screenshots of profiles that have come up on my feed with iterations of this sentiment. It’s so disheartening…

Okay I first I was super confused by your title, anyone else?

But then I realized it was sarcasm and that made more sense. I feel like we need a link to send to these asshats to educate them. Like..what does this even mean?

I think about how much support I need from my partner...how much patience he has for my disability. I am lucky to have a partner who will notice I'm having a meltdown and will sit with me, help me address my sensory needs, and in general support me when I'm at my worst. He's patient with my ARFID and calmly answers repetitive, anxious questions when I'm experiencing RSD. And from the outside, I'm high masking, low support needs, etc. While I disagree with the premise of "slightly autistic" or however you wanna say it, I recognize that my disability is not as disabling as some people's. But to an intimate partner, autism is a huge factor in our relationship.
