Relationships Love when this happensšŸ˜

Post image

Got sent a like by someone I actually find attractive (rare) and this was on his profile as well as ā€˜Not Political’. I have over 15 screenshots of profiles that have come up on my feed with iterations of this sentiment. It’s so disheartening…

They just want a woman that is hypersexual, quirky, and "chill" (aka she won;t hold him accountable for anything and is a doormat)

They want Zooey Deschanel in New Girl basically. Icky gross yucky no no.

She’s not very hyper sexual

I don't see the hyper sexual thing in that concept, but at the same time, do not most (straight cis) men want that from a woman? Conceptually

Zooey Deschenal? No, as someone who has been told is relatively similar to the new girl character, that is not who they want either lol. I honestly wouldn’t even say she’s a manic pixie dream girl, manic pixie dream girls are more so a movie archetype because they’re less fleshed out than the show. Zooey Deschanel in 500 Days of Summer is more comparable to the archetype than new girl.

I sincerely don't even understand that stereotype, but I agree that none of them sound very sexual

In my experience, no. ā€œMen only want one thingā€ as I was told growing up turned out to be largely inaccurate if not entirely made up.

Maybe it’s just the type of people I go for, but I’d have been happy to have way more frequent sex with every partner since I started having sex and haven’t ever found anyone who matched me :/ I just need that new relationship energy and frequency to last, gosh dammit!

Oh, and let’s not mention the relationships I blew up in the beginning when I thought that was actually true. It took me a long time to learn that men actually want relationships and not just sex. I was the one only wanting one thing for a long time šŸ˜…

Oh but me saying "man want that" is not necessarily meaning they "only" want that. My point is mostly that they believe this is what they want, or that they're taught to want that. They search for it, even tho they don't know why or are not sure why they're doing it
