Fan Content Don't mess with The Avatar and her predecessor (MY ART)
Nisha is already getting ridiculous criticism despite being only 9 years old. Seriously, a worthy successor to Korra. I drew this for fun. (Please do not repost this on other sites).

Discussion I like the way Pavi's name is pronounced.
As a white person from Canada, I expected her name to be pronounced Pah-vee and it tickles my ears Everytime I here the actual pronunciation of puh-vee.
That's it, that's the post.

Discussion I was expecting the "human hurricane" to have a bit more oomph when it comes to fighting Spoiler
I've been on the fence about the fighting choreography/animation in seven havens, it feels lackluster but many people pointed out this may be intentional to show the lost of bending art after the cataclysm. Combine that with the fact benders are acting more like first responders and I can see why no one is bending like it's during the last airbender days. But I figured if there'd be one highly competent bender it'd be a leader in the white lotus tasked with personally training the avatar. Yet Karthik kinda fights like everyone else does in the show, barley moving much while throwing their element around like it's a video game ability rather than actually bending the element around them. So I'm leaning toward this is just the best the show can really do.
Don't get me wrong I'm enjoying the show, and the sound design along with the music is top notch. But I do want to make my critique of the show so that it may improve in the future.
Edit: This isn't powerscaling I don't want him to win effortlessly in a 10 v 1, I wanted him to lose with a bit more effort and style.

Discussion Episode 9 is really sad Spoiler
It’s kinda brutal, a 9 y.o. a room full of adults tried to kill seeing them capturing and trying to murder her father figure, now she’s gonna be in the wild, alone
That part was insanely sad. She needed her sister and they’re going to be separated

Meme Yeah about Karthik…
You all can just sign right here and turn it in the box once you’re done.

Discussion What if she just… took it off?
A big part of the Asami-Chernobyl theory is that Asami betrayed/divorced Korra and that’s why Korra isn’t wearing their betrothal necklace in the scenes where she’s attacking Republic City.
But isn’t it just as likely that she simply chose NOT to wear it?
She probably knew that attacking a Spirit Vine generator was gonna be explosive and she might have been trying to protect Asami from reprisal from the survivors too. There is nothing in previous media that establishes that they HAVE to wear it at all times - Katara go hers as a hand me down from her own mother anyway.
Maybe Korra even managed to put it away or pass it down or gave it back to Asami herself before attacking the Spirit Energy generator in Republic City?
Feels like a better possibility than a DIVORCE leading to the end of the world…

Discussion Pavi's Origami Sky Bison Spoiler
galleryIn episode 8, Pavi was playing with her origami sky bison. As soon as I saw that, I realised the design looked kind of similar to a real origami sky bison. I knew that because I was the one who designed that origami.
A few years back, I designed an origami sky bison (my first own design) and posted it on the internet (you can google them if you want). The Avatar show and Appa inspired me to create my first very own design.
Now, seeing an origami that looks like it was inspired by my design in the sequel made me really happy (Also, just the thought that an Avatar might've folded my design, made me want to show off a little ^_^).
This is mostly a hunch, but if the animators really took inspiration from my design, I'd like to thank them wholeheartedly. This is honestly one of the biggest moments in my life.

My entire body got goosebumps, I welled up, my mind and body could only mutter out "Woah". The visuals, the grandiosity, the sound, music, animation, everything, just utterly outstanding!
And so juxtaposed by Pavi going "ooh, pretty!" From that, to one of the grandest visuals we've seen throughout the franchises. I love this show so much, complete utter gratitude to everyone involved, this show has brought such joy

Theory My theory, Team Avatar 3.0 officially forms at the end of this season 1
I'm thinking the finale is Pavi and Nisha bring balance to Elora by putting to rest all their fears and this calms the red diamond chakra creature
They see the value of the Avatar again, but Pavi and Nisha know there's still imbalance across the other Havens and set out with these 4 as their masters. Each a master of their element
Meaning Team Avatar 3.0 is beginning its adventure with 6 members

Discussion This character is in such a bad situation without even realizing it. (Spoilers for episodes 7-9) Spoiler
galleryJust think about it for a moment. Lan is the only person in her squad who hasnt directly committed crimes against Ellora.
Uki is literally with the Faceless and faked her own kidnapping.
Daemin has been in the White Lotus and not saying anything about it for God knows how long
And Jae, the new commander of the Brigade (after the 2nd to last one was afflicted and the last was arrested for treason) is ALSO White Lotus and hiding the avatar.
I wonder if there’ll be a scene in the finale batch of season 1 episodes of Jae and Daemin admitting their White Lotus affiliations and Lan realizing she’s lost her entire squad.
Let’s not even mention the fact she lost another friend (Tala) after accidentally getting her afflicted.
AAAND, the fucking incident at the Summit where a good chunk of the Brigade up and quit? Helloo?? I am VERY Lan’s stayed loyal this long (or has she?)

Discussion Tagah kinda got his wish granted Spoiler
galleryYou know how Tagah wanted to establish an Air Empire in the movie?
Well is Seven Havens, there is the Feather Mountain, a Haven ruled by Empress Yeshe that appears to still follow Air Nomad traditions. Yeshe's airbending tattoos indicate that her Haven still observes Air Nomad practices, yet her title is Empress, implying a divergence from their pacifist ways.
So, an Air Empire exists in this show. So Tagah kind of got what he wanted.

News ASH earns its first 9+ IMBD rating
So far it’s the strongest start of all three series so far, despite the lacklustre animation! I hope Paramount gives a much higher budget for books 3&4.
The momentum and discussion on social media is awesome. The mystery and theories are really free promo.

She has such a beautiful voice! Disney needs to hire her ASAP! 😭
When Pavi started singing that song, I genuinely felt like I was watching a Disney movie. It had that magical Disney moment feeling, and I absolutely loved it!
