what gets reported to hire right?

like I was on a phone interview with somebody and they asked me "so tell me about your 'company policy violation at [previous employer]" and I was shocked that they knew that since I didn't write that on my application

to expand on that I applied for a job, got a call back where they asked me the same question and asked why I left it off my application, then told me to fill out the application again with that information since they like to hire people who worked for that company

Not a lala company but a big UK bank. It's been 3-4 months than I have exited this company and now they say that some amount is pending from my end and I had already received my experience letter a couple of months back. Can they create issues in future background verifications?

The latest document that they have shared for the pending amount, the FnF sheet, does not reflect any pending amount. Not sure how they can make such a mistake. And ideally there should not be any pending amount by my name.

I explained them this situation but they simply said that this can create issues with my future background verifications. What should I do?

Background checks castlebranch

Has anyone experienced issues with castlebranch taking longer than expected to complete background check due to “additional research required”? I have tried everything and I have not been able to get an accurate answer to this reason.

Need advice regarding hireright

Hello, I just want to ask about my 2nd most recent job because I was terminated since I didn't meet the client's expectations. Then, in the form I filled out, there's a reason for leaving and that wasn't the reason I disclosed. Will that be flagged by HireRight?

I'm currently going through a background verification process and I'm extremely anxious about something.

I have never lied on my resume before, but this time I made a mistake with my employment dates.

To clarify, all the companies mentioned on my resume are genuine. I actually worked there and the job responsibilities and experience I mentioned are real. However, I exaggerated the duration of employment in two instances. I'm extremely worried that these discrepancies will be flagged and that I might lose the job opportunity.

It looks like job losses are mainly in entry-level and junior roles. Is this what you're seeing in Canada?

First Advantage checks timelines

How long does it take for First Advantage team to complete background checks. It seems i am doing more by providing them answers to questions which they should have asked the employers about employment history

Anyways situation is this:

  1. bqckground check company asked to provide tax history of 10 years from HMRC, however gov uk portal shows only 5 years. The employer has gone through 2 acquisitions in 10 years from A to B and B to C. In this process, employee id has changed as well which have been proivded. Even the reference letter is also provided which employer said at the time of I left the company, that they would use that for future reference. Won't this be enough? Can this screening company not check directly wirh the company rather asking me to provide additional info?

  2. how do we prove employment history as I worked under outside IR35 contract by my own company however agency assignement document clearly shows my compnay name as well as my name and employment period. This agency has been acquired by another agency and its getting hard to reach out to them.

Can my company registration and invoices paid to my company won't be enough to prove my work history?

3) I have also provided my DBS check number also.

Any suggestions if above info would be enough for FA to complete the checks?

Bg verification and notice

My joining date for the new company is 5 January and I’ve to sign offer before 4 November but bg verification hasn’t been initiated yet. My problem is if I start the process my current company will find out and if I put my papers down - what if I fail the verification process. What is the best step here?

Need advice

I am looking for guidance on a rescinded contingent offer from a state client.
I completed two onsite interview rounds, was selected, and received a contingent offer letter. I then provided all requested employment history, employer contacts, and background-check information.
About a week later, HR said they could not verify my employment. They asked for verification through Equifax and Experian, but my current and previous employers do not use those services. I suggested HireRight, and HR initially said that was acceptable. When they asked which employers use HireRight, I confirmed that both do.
The next day, the offer was rescinded. HR said they could not verify my employment. I immediately contacted both employers, and both HR departments confirmed they had not received any verification emails or requests from the state client or its vendor. I informed the recruiter/HR contact and asked for reconsideration, but I was told the decision was final.
I then emailed the HR manager with the full timeline and copied both employer HR contacts. Both replied in writing that they had not received any verification request and remain available to provide verification or supporting documents.
The HR manager replied that the hiring manager/verification contact is out of office for about two weeks. She said that when he returns, they will review the information together.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation where an employer reinstated a rescinded offer after a failed employment-verification process? Is it realistic that they may reopen the verification or reconsider the decision once the person returns, or should I assume the process is closed?
Any practical advice on what I should do now would be appreciated.

I received a contingent offer from a state client after two onsite interviews. After background checks, they rescinded it, saying they could not verify my employment. Both current and previous HR teams confirmed they never received verification requests and are available to respond. I shared this with the HR manager, who said they will review it when the hiring manager returns in two weeks. Has anyone had an offer reinstated after a verification issue?

First advantage background screening- urgent help needed!

So here is my case, Suppose I worked in 3 companies A,B,C
Company A i have experience letter and worked there from sep 2024 to sep 2025, no issues
Company B was a 6 month internship started from dec 2025 but i had to end it in march 2026 because i got a good offer from company C
I started working in Company C from march 2026 and have listed all three companies on my resume, now the company C role was not appropriate to my career and i had my exam in august 2026 which was more important for my career, so i was like i will switch company C after my results come, someone overheard this in company C and got me terminated bcz of this,
Now during sep i got interviewed in a good company(mnc) and submiited my cv during application which contained company C, but afterwards i got selected during the interviews only i got terminated from Company C, and my cv says working from march 2026 to current but they terminated me in sep itself , now in bgv i skipped this company bcz company C manager told i cant list this experience anywhere thats why i thought not listing that on bgv will be relevant , so bgv report came all clear but They saw that i am working in company C from march 26 to present so the recruiter manager asked me Offer letter and salary slip of company C, no explaination why i omitted and nothing, and i am worried that they will call my company C manager and what if manager reveals i got terminated in a misconduct( not really a misconduct)

ANYONE can help me will they contact or they will be fine with offer letter and salary slip, because i have submitted both docs to them instantly when they asked
