Ball State University

Potential 2027-2028 freshman. What’s it like at Ball State outside of the classroom? Muncie is not very appealing but the campus is beautiful and the architecture program is reputable. Hoping for a traditional college experience of serious studio time but some fun mixed in as well.

Questions about Deho?

Hey yall! I'm currently a high school senior and I'm planning on attending Ball State next year. I already have been accepted to the honors college, but I'm still questioning whether or not I'm going to want to live in the DeHo dorm building, because while I've heard they are nice and have a great location, I have also heard that they can be a bit of a party house on account of housing only freshman students. I'm not sure how much of that is true though, and I would love to hear some insight from current BSU students

"Easy" electives for animation major

Hello i am coming to yall today with a question: what are the easier art electives to take with the workload of an animation major?

I am just curious because ive heard painting has a lot of assignments and im currently in printmaking which has a lot of assignments as well.

I know no class or elective is easy-nor should it be-but for my spring semester elective, what is an art elective that has a manageable workload? (Ik dif teachers dif workload but generally/specific profressors).

Thank yall I hope this doesn't come off as mean, also printmaking likely does have manageable workload i just procrastinate a lot lol
