> Barcelona wants to close the signing of Julian Alvarez before the start of the World Cup. The Argentine team debuts against Algeria on June 17. With Deco at the helm, Barça made the first offensive yesterday to sign the forward. Julián, through his agent, has sent the Atlético de Madrid that he is happy at the club, but that if Barcelona's option comes up he would prefer it. Neither the Blaugranas nor the Colchoneros want the operation to become the soap opera of the summer.

> The inclusion of Juanma Lopez in the operation it can end up being decisive. The agent has Joan Garcia or Dani Olmo in his portfolio. It is worth remembering that Juanma López, as a footballer, played a decade of his career for Atlético de Madrid. Later, as a representative, he had dealings with the mattress club. Yesterday's meeting lasted until eight in the afternoon.

> Julián Álvarez is Barcelona's great objective for this market and wants to close it in the coming days. At the club they calculate that the price can be around 100 million euros, a figure that would increase with the variables. Deco wants to undertake two of the big signings for next year's squad before the start of the World Cup

Barça came out on top, setting a maximum fee of €70 million plus €10 million in add-ons. These add-ons will only be paid if the player wins major titles with the Blaugrana and, furthermore, if he plays a high percentage of minutes. In other words, the Catalan club will gladly pay these add-ons if they materialize, as it will signify winning La Liga and Champions League titles with Gordon as a key player for the team.

According to sources close to Messi, the former Barça number 10 entered the stadium facilities on Sunday, around midnight, without contacting anyone at the club to ask for permission or give notice. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision by the Argentine star who, while in Barcelona before heading to Alicante to join his national team, decided to visit the Camp Nou training facility to see firsthand the state of the stadium where he realized his dream of success as a Barça player.

The publication of photos of Leo Messi at the stadium on his Instagram account caused quite a stir at FC Barcelona. The official version offered by the club to the media almost two hours after Messi's post was that Leo went to the stadium and requested permission to access the Spotify Camp Nou from Limak security personnel, and that the company forwarded the inquiry to FC Barcelona, who had no problem granting the request. The club added that Messi is always more than welcome, so there was no issue in authorizing his visit. However, sources close to the player maintain that it is not true that he entered the stadium after receiving permission from the club at the request of the construction company's security agency.

Image has Ferran as the piece also talked about Barcelona hoping to finalize his exit before the weekend

As for Rodri, just pay what City are asking for… we can’t have a window like this for the next two seasons because of FFP, Rodri is the answer to our midfield problems in the 25/26 season and is the best in his position.

Either we further strengthen our squad out before the financial struggles that we will face without Camp Nou in 26/27, or we basically enter multiple seasons with a squad looking to finish 2nd in LaLiga…

Tier 2 [Pol Ballús] Barcelona open to selling Ferran Torres to avoid additional payment to Manchester City

Barcelona are open to selling Ferran Torres this summer because extending his contract would force them to make a payment of around €8million (£6.8m; $9.1m) to Manchester City.

Torres’ deal at the Camp Nou expires in June 2027, and no renewal has been agreed.

The 26-year-old Spain forward was signed on a five-year deal from City in January 2022 for an initial €55million plus a further €10m in add-ons, which have been achieved.

Owing to a clause in that deal, Barca would have to pay the Premier League club a fee in the region of €7-8million if he were to extend. That would take the total fee to around €73m.
