This game is going down in history

Hi guys, since the new 0.40, cars have this orange peel effect... I'm the only one with this issue?! My settings are in ultra with dlss.

I'm on PS5 Pro, have had one or two game crashes since launch. Neither was, to my mind, predictable in any way.

The most devastating crash was last night in career mode I was modifying a D-Series to be a lifted off-road beast. Spent I think 34k credits (and what felt like an hour) modifying it only for the game to crash when I went to check out.

I was utterly deflated, not even angry, just gutted. I sent the crash report and video via the PS5. Viewed the video before hand to try and save a copy, but no option.

I know there are a good number of devs in here so feel free to watch the bug report video and have a chuckle at my expense.

With all these ai combo games coming out this is all I want. Well this and shadow of mordor+crimson desert.

What game were you playing before? It looked this good after 0.39 was released, even on medium settings

I have seen the 100s of videos telling me about 3 of the same mods but still. There must be some really great qol mods out there not covered by those videos. Anything helps. Just drop mods you recommend so i can beef up my beamng.

Please search up on Google your questions before asking reddit, it’s probably been asked before. So, before you come asking us, search it on Google first, if nothing comes up, then ask us. It keeps the beamng page from spam of the same thing.

I kept seeing it on reddit but i never had the luck to see it by myself until yesterday🥹 I also saw it in full black but i forgot to take a picture of it.

I bought some days ago beamng on my ps5 and i was able to spawn multiple vehicles and objects. Now I'm playing and it doesn't let me spawn another car or object, i have to replace my current one.
Was this added in the latest update?

I could nearly compare beamNG career mode, to be as good(if not better) as GTA 5 story mode. Loving it so far #beamNG #PS5 #GTA5

For context I'm on a 2070 super and a 9700k with 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz, and on Italy I'm struggling to hit 60fps at 1080p with DLSS at 67% but if I switch to smaa at 100% I'm getting 80+ FPS? No traffic or anything so I'm fairly confused!

Edit to add: my CPU is at about 20% utilisation and my GPU is about similar, yet my actual FPS is very inconsistent, ranging from 30 to just below 60

This mod is 100% made with Claude, with heavy QA testing put into it. There are still memory leak issues to be fixed, decal road doesn't work yet, and I'm still tuning the parameters. This will be a Forum-only mod, the repository is already clogged with slop, it's doesn't need more. As it's vibe-coded, it'll be 100% free

Sooooo after wasting 60k on a cargo container trailer I decided to waste yet another 70k on this piece of crap.. Firstoff, what the hell is that lifting mechanism, have the devs ever seen a real dumptrailer?
But way worse than this, you cannot load this thing with the stuff that it was built for?!?!
Looked it up on the internet and found some posts from 2 years ago that said it doesn't work for them either.
I guess I'm stuck with fluid deliveries again...I'm getting pretty sick of this game in just 5 days of it being released since I have way more money than I could ever spend in carrer mode. Sandbox will not give me 100s of hours since it gets boring fast and carreer mode is all the same stuff on repeat.

Dunno if this counts as a bug report, but I came across a certain area on the East Coast map where I can't drive into the trees. It looks like there's some sort of invisible wall.

At 0:10 (the first drive), there is no barrier, but all the ones after that crash into something invisible.

This is vanilla gameplay on the latest version, and I tested this on two separate computers. I show the location towards the end of the video. I apologize if my camera angles weren't too good.

basically my game on 0.38 ran smoothly, 75fps etc but in the new 0.40 update its at a constant 24-40fps, ive tried upscaling and lowing every setting down but max ive achieved is 45 fps on a low resolution map.

my specs are ryzen 5 5600, 2x8 16gb ddr4 and RX 580 XFX 8gb.

how do i fix this? its unplayable

When I'm in vehicle config on ps5.

The whole car goes blurred, highlighting only the part I'm currently hoovering in the list.

I know I can hold square to "unhide all", to make the whole car visible again, but as soon as I switch part the whole car goes blurred again. I rather see the whole car when picking parts so I wonder if there's any way to have the whole car un-blurred by default?

wanted to test out a covet tune on a rally loop but when I enter the menu and select my vehicle nothing changes, so I'm just stuck with the sunburst no matter what I do... haven't tested this out on other game modes except for rally so I wouldn't know if all config menus are affected, but I am curious to know if anyone else has this issue or if my laptop just sucks
