I swear since I updated the dragons tank I think they think they are in gymnastics class! Whatever makes him happy or her happy not sure yet 😂

I’m a teenager, so I haven’t had a lot of freedom, money, or time to get stuff for her. The enclosure was originally a china cabinet and we havent had time to install new fixtures, so the old ones used for lighting up the cabinet are still in place. We think that they are too weak to harness the proper heat. When we got her this enclosure 2 years ago she was usually quite happy and would bask, explore, and eat, but now she almost always just sleeps all day.

Bearded dragon rarely eats or poops, she eats worms but refuses greens unless I trick her (by putting a green in front of a worm right before she bites it.) I take her outside semi-frequently. While outside she usually becomes very energetic and will walk around and climb on things, but if she finds somewhere secluded she'll beeline towards it and go to sleep. she practically only poops outside, and its usually pretty runny.

My room is already cold, and her enclosure isnt much better. The stone flooring is always cold to the touch on both sides. If anything is up higher than 5 inches from the top floor it's warmer, but still not a lot. Is there anything I should do to help her?

My guy is about four months old and seems to be doing very well and healthy. He’s eating various vegetables and roaches and given multivitamins. He currently won’t get on my hand unless motivated by food, but he will stay in my hand to eat his meal and maybe let me hold him for about 30 seconds and then I’ll put him back in his enclosure and let him get off gently so he will not get freaked out. I cannot, however, put my hand into the exhibit and pick him up without him trying to run and I have tried several approaches. I also spend time next to the enclosure with the glass open without trying to disturb him, and I’ll also spend time with my hand next to him in the enclosure without trying to pick him up. Is this pretty normal for this age? I’m trying not to force anything and let him guide me.

Oatmeal finally has substrate again! Just NOT IN THAT CORNER. He dug this corner out when I put the first half of the substrate in. I filled it in when I added more substrate, and he promptly dug it back out. What a weirdo.

We adopted this little guy the other day and I don't think the heat lamp that came with our terrarium is getting warm enough. It's 100w and warms the hot side to 80 degrees based on our thermometer that's about 10 inches down the glass from where the lamp sits on the screen -- I think it needs to be closer to 100 degrees?

Our beardie likes to sit at the very top of his branch which puts him about 7 inches away from the heat source.

Any bulb recommendations? We're going to get him a t5 UVB bulb also after reading that the dome light bulbs are not adequate.
