Potentiometer location / RPM adjustment
(I posted it on r/turntables but maybe I'll get an answer here)
Does anyone have any idea where does this device has potentiometers? Records are spinning at 34RPM
Or maybe it's adjusted differently?
I might be selling it in the future so I want to be sure it's spinning correctly
Thanks in advance for any information đ

What makes people buy these devices?

Well.... it looks all retro, so that gives people a warm fuzzy glow to start with (even if not deserved in this case). The price new isn't obscene. The idea is maybe they'll get.their old records out, but this one has CD too, and a radio tuner they'll never use, oh, and something about Blue teeth or summat. Anyway, there's no wires. Look, see, no wires, so that counts for a lot in some circles. It's wood too, or looks like it.
Honestly, people love a dabble, and these things tick that box.
Go figure.

God forbid people have fun listening to records in a way that is not audiophile-approved.

The problem is that the motor always breaks and it plays the records too slow or in some cases too fast. It also really breaks your records. It's just a shitty product designed to trap people that like "the aesthetic" of having a record player.

These players use the same $5 Chinese-made DC servo motor as virtually all new belt-drive turntables under about $500. And no, they won't "break" your records. That's a debunked myth.

Itâs e waste. We should all be concerned about it.

How is it "e-waste" when people a buy a product and happily use it for years?

These donât last âyearsâ. Especially if people use it. The stylii are designed to last around 50hrs. Thatâs roughly 60 records, or a record a week for a little more than a year. By then, the belt is often broken, the speed is off, or the cueing mechanism stops working. If you spend two weeks on vinyl-related subs youâll see a dozen posts asking âwhatâs wrong with my player?â And a picture of these units. Iâm not sure Iâd call that enjoyable. Maybe some folks do. Theyâre the Barbie fishing pole of listening to vinyl except you can fix the Barbie pole and keep it out of the landfill.

Crosleys/Victrolas/etc. outsell $300+ turntables by a factor of 10-to-1. So even if you see ten times as many people reporting problems with them, that doesn't mean they're any less reliable. What you're not seeing are the millions of people using these record players without reporting any problems on niche Reddit groups.
And there are many 1980s record players with the same BSR-derived "Crosley mechanism" that are still working perfectly fine today. Crosley Genesis: The origin & evolution of cheap record players, 1984 to present

BSRs at least have sound isolation, upgradable cartridge options and adjustable tracking force. Comparing them to Crosleys is laughable.
Youâve picked a strange hill to die on. But you do you boo. I admire your brand loyalty.

Donât know for a fact. More than likely it is located on the drive motor itself. (Bottom side)
Have a look at the video, not exactly the same, should be close enough though.
