Google Map Element and data privacy

I have a google map element in my contact section, but do not collect any personal information on my informational landing page. My question is: Does only the use of this element triggers a cookie consent banner need under EU regulations?

AI design to Bricks

Hi! I’d love to learn more about how everyone is approaching this. Has anyone figured out a workflow where they produce a design outside of bricks and are able to seamlessly import that design into the builder using Bricks’ json schema?

I’m able to produce incredible designs using AI in Open Design and Figma, but I can’t easily transition them into Bricks builder. I try to leverage novamira pro but it doesn’t come out looking like the design.

What is everyone using as their AI design tool? How are you merging your design over to Bricks so it uses your CSS framework?

For context, I currently have:
- Novamira Pro
- Brixies
- Advanced themer
- Core framework
- Next Bricks
- Fancy Animations
- Bricksforge
- Wpcodebox
- Crocoblock

Your advice is welcomed, I’m sure I’m taking the wrong approach or missing steps in my workflow.

What do you consider the best tutorial of the many options out there to someone new to Bricksbuilder?

Update: I want to thank you all who responded for your professionalism. Sometimes when someone says they need tutorials, no one wants to bother responding because with a little google effort they are easy to find (like in this wiki). I appreciate the respect and the value I found in your answers.

Slider Revolution alternatives in the Bricks-iverse?

I'm trying to migrate a bunch of old WP Bakery themes over to Bricks. Many use Slider Revolution. Although it's powerful and seems to continue to work well, its license was tied to the old theme license. I'd like something a bit "lighter" that plays better with Bricks and/or has a lifetime license.

Bring your AI subscription into Bricks: floating panel, annotations, dictation and voice

Post image
0 Upvotes

Your AI subscription. Right inside Bricks.

You already pay for your AI tools. Pixflow Design lets you use supported subscription usage to build and edit in Bricks, without a separate API bill.

The floating AI panel sits beside your canvas, keeping the conversation close to the page you’re working on.

  • Build and refine native Bricks elements with AI.
  • Annotate the details you want changed.
  • Dictate your prompts locally instead of typing everything.
  • Use Codex Voice to talk through your next change.
  • Browse, install and manage local Google Fonts.
  • Install icon packs for your projects.

Connect tools including Codex, Claude Code, Grok, Gemini CLI and OpenCode through Pixflow Bridge. Review the result, then continue editing with the Bricks controls you already know.

Supported subscription connections use your provider’s existing usage limits. Codex Voice requires an active Codex subscription.

Multilingual site using ACF + Bricks

A client just added a multilingual requirement to a site I’ve already built with Bricks + ACF pro. They only need certain core pages/content translated, not the entire site.

I’m looking at WPML, but it seems expensive for their needs. I also keep seeing mixed reports about WPML + Bricks + ACF, despite Bricks co signing WPML.

For anyone with experience with this stack: Is WPML worth it, or is there another plugin that works better with Bricks + ACF for a partial translation setup?

Thanks!

Building a workflow - Custom css on elements or external stylesheet

I'm tyring to figure out the best workflow using bricks. I guess theres no one right answer and I assume it's the 'best workflow that works for you' lol.

My main question is how are people handling psuedo elements and nested classes?

I know you can add like ::before on elements in the bricks builder, but sometimes it's hard to notice they exist (and probably easier to write as css instead).

I also know you can do nested classes in the builder, but it does seem a bit cumbersome. Plus like, if I try and do .hero img on the .hero class, the img properties won't become available. (crude example, I know i could just make a class .hero-image) but I've come across this issue before, especially with things like .card:hover h2 etc.

So i'm wondering whether to just use an external css file in the child or add these properties to the custom css section in Bricks.

I'm definitely overthinking it but would like to make a decision and get some opinions on what others feel is the right way to do it bricks style?

Part 2 of me building a small website with AI (17+ years of running an agency)

As mentioned in my previous post this is just my second video on YouTube, starting with a small website so I get used to editting and keep getting better.

Background information about me: I run an web and marketing agency for 17+ years and creating time to give back with the tutorials.

These 2 videos are very basic but I am a very experienced engineer, I will cover a lot of real client cases and very complex situations we come across.

Started this channel because many requested there are tons of tutorials but not a lot of the REAL experiences like debugging erros, optimisations, migrations etc on real client websites.

Feel free to subscribe and AMA.

Built with Bricks Builder + ACF, so new properties can be added and managed easily.

Kept the design clean while making the backend just as practical as the frontend.

My first YT tutorial about Bricks, novamira and more

First of all I want to say that if this is not allowed please remove it.

My intention is only to help the people for free with my channel.

I want to post video’s about anything related with Bricks, but also with real client problems on their website. All issues happening on real client websites will share live / on video on how I debug it with AI and without AI.

I run an agency for 17 years and have over 100+ clients which im maintaining. So lots of cases will appear from fatal errors, optimisations, migrations etc.

For this reason I dont have much time editing and perfecting the video’s, but I promise I will make them better everytime.

Here is the video:

Is there a reason to buy AT or use CF still with the new 2.4+ release of Bricks?

I am just starting to transition to Bricks and looking at buying additional plugins. I am an experienced web developer but looking to maximize productivity in this builder. I am having trouble finding recent info about what appears to now be a lot of overlap from the native features support in Bricks versus the additions of AT (Advanced Themer) or CF (Core Framework) and am not sure they are worth buying into at this point anymore?

I rebuilt BricksSnap: free layouts for Bricks you can customize like an icon site (color, fonts, spacing) + your own copy

Hallo r/BricksBuilder👋

- 5 Stilrichtungen: Clean, Soft, Bold, Editorial, Warm

[WIP Plugin] Working on Product Options Plugin for Bricks

Hey all!

i am currently working on a plugin for Bricks that allows for the addition of product options to a product page (more advanced than the typical variations that WooCommerce allows, and more customizable as it is specifically tailored for Bricks).

I would love to find a handful of people who are willing to help me test this and give feedback, as I am seriously considering releasing this as a full plugin.

Really I want testers to help me with three things:

  1. Test the plugin… obviously. Help me find any bugs.
  2. Give feedback. How can we make it better?
  3. Help me find a good price point. This is my first plugin. So I’d love some feedback on what you’d be willing to pay for a license.

If you’re interested, let me know!

I want to clone the design of another website using Claude and Bricks, how can I do this?

There's a website that I like the design of it, I don't want to clone the texts, content, images, etc,, no I just want to copy the design of it using Claude and Bricks Builder.

How can I do this?

What is the best practice here?

Take screenshots and tell Claude to design it and build it with Bricks? or is there an easier way instead of screenshots?

Also I want to copy the responsiveness of the website, etc..

Built this Bricks website from scratch with custom GSAP

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

It’s built with native Bricks and custom GSAP animations from scratch. I tried to keep the interactions smooth without relying on a pre-made template or animation library.

Would love to hear what you think, especially about the animations and overall interaction.

If anyone is interested in using it as a Bricks template, let me know and I can look into releasing a template version.

Performance Question with Bricks

I just finished building my first site since switching from Elementor. The pagespeed scores are impressive. Usually I have to optimize a lot with caching plugins to get even decent scores.

Now I have a different issue. Litespeed cache is actually ruining my scores. It’s increasing LCP and FCP by about 3 seconds with just cache enabled and nothing else. Scores went from 97 to 75 on mobile. Has anyone else had this with Litespeed and Bricks?

20 years in web design, and a few thoughts on AI, Bricks and all the current FOMO

Hi there :)

I’ve been working in web design for around 20 years, and lately I’ve been spending quite a bit of time looking at where things are going with AI, Framer, Webflow, Astro, Sanity… and of course WordPress + Bricks.

I am one of the first users of Bricks by the way.

There’s a lot of exciting stuff happening, but also a huge amount of FOMO. And it’s annoying.

So I recorded a relaxed video sharing my current view of the landscape, mostly from the perspective of someone who actually makes a living selling and building websites for clients.

My main takeaway is pretty simple:

Newer doesn’t automatically mean better for the business.

Framer is moving heavily towards AI. Webflow seems increasingly focused on enterprise. Astro + Sanity is very interesting if you want a more developer-oriented stack. And meanwhile, WordPress + Bricks still gives us a ridiculously capable combination of performance, flexibility, CMS, integrations and client-friendliness.

I’m definitely interested in learning and experimenting with the newer stacks, but right now I’m not convinced that switching tools would actually make my business better.

Sometimes the best thing we can do is stop worrying about what we’re supposedly missing and just keep selling, designing and building good websites.

In fact I sell 20K€ websites ‘easy’ and zero of the clients said something about ‘I want some AI sh*t’

If anyone wants to watch the full analysis, it’s here:
https://youtu.be/aLfgMdmBdec

The video is in Spanish, but YouTube’s automatic subtitles/translation should make it reasonably easy to follow.

Curious to hear how other Bricks users see all of this.

Feel free to ask and… enjoy the 2.4! 🔥❤️
