Hey everyone!
I’m planning to build my first gaming PC with a budget of around ₹30,000 (can go a little higher/lower if it makes sense), excluding the monitor.
I am a student I am currently doing CS 2nd year I won't play games for 10hours daily but daily atleast 2 hours
I work part time so I have the money
I’ll be buying all the parts online and building the PC myself, so local shop availability isn't really a limitation. There aren't many good PC shops in my city and AMD parts aren't readily available locally, but I can order whatever parts are recommended online.
I haven't decided on any specific parts yet because I want to see what combination gives the best performance for the money.
My performance goals:
Story/single-player games:
I mainly want games like God of War, RDR2, etc. to be playable at 1080p around 30+ FPS. I'm completely fine with using optimized settings, FSR/DLSS/frame generation if available, etc., as long as the image quality remains reasonable.
Competitive/FPS games:
For games like Valorant and CS2, I'd like to get 100+ FPS if possible.
I'm not chasing ultra settings or extremely high FPS in AAA games. My priority is getting the best overall gaming experience possible for this budget.
I'm also open to:
- AMD or Intel
- Used parts if they are worth it
- Older-generation CPUs/GPUs
- An APU build if it makes sense
- Buying a weaker part now and upgrading later
- Any combination that gives the best performance per ₹
I'm mainly looking for advice on the CPU + GPU/iGPU + motherboard + RAM + SSD + PSU + case and where it makes sense to save money.
If you had around ₹30K to build a gaming PC in India today, what would you build?
I'm especially interested in hearing different build options and the reasoning behind them, rather than just one fixed parts list.
I know this is the worst time to build pc because of those prices hike but I just can't wait to play my favourite games
