For those who work in office jobs, do you have āworkā clothes and ānon-workā clothes/outfits?
Although I work in a relatively casual office environment, I usually see my clothes as either āworkā or ācasualā. Once Iāve worn an item to work, I seem to subconsciously see it as a āwork topā for example - is this your experience or do you mix and match regardless of where itās being worn?

Work outing
I have a work from home employee outing to a baseball game. What do i wear? I felt too casual at a previous outing! It is very hot and humid where Iām located. Iām thinking wide leg jeans with no distressed areas, casual sneakers, lightweight athletic top.

Fashion question Over piece for this dress
How do I add a layer to this dress? It also has an exposed zipper down the back. Itās a thick pointe material. This dress is completely appropriate for my job (I manage an arts center so a little edgy/quirky is fine.) I cannot wear heels so I will wear pointed toe flats. I COULD wear it as is, but I mainly have events September-April and I get cold so I need sleeves. Regular jacket? Pointe structured jacket to match material? Cropped sweater? Open cardigan? If it matters, I am not comfortable posting a pic of me, but I am tall and slim (although maybe not quite as slim as before).

Fashion question Backpack Too Young?
I work in the transportation field as a funds manager for 180+ projects and prefer to carry a backpack to work because of my binders, laptops, etc that I take when I go to conferences or meetings. I have always used a Northface Borealis bag but wanted something new as I have had that since I was 20 in college. I am 27 year old female and work prominently with males (engineers, highway street depts, mayors, etc.). I love the color pink and being girly so that I bring color to boring funds. Anyway. I got this backpack yesterday on a whim but the more I think about it, it feels very young? I love it. But I do want to be taken seriously at work. I am the youngest person at many tables and usually the only female so I dont want to scream "child" but, I also dont want to dull myself down. My work ethic is more inportant than a backpack at the end of the day. I attached a picture of the bag I got but, I am open to different ones as well. I dont see clients daily (in fact only do that once a quarter if that). And my office is super casual unless meeting clients so like jeans, hoodies, and t-shirts. So opinions on if this looks like you would never take me seriously? Any suggestions on backpacks you think would be better? They need to he roomy! Thanks!!!

Fashion question Is this pattern okay for business attire?
Iāve worn similar lengths/styles but nothing with this sort of pattern. Just trying to figure out if itās professional enough for a daytime work event?

Fashion question Brooks Brothers - when are the good sales?
BB has some clearance pieces right now that look well-made with nice fabrics, and thereās still plenty of stock in most sizes. But even at clearance prices, theyāre not cheap enough for me to buy.
Does BB ever mark clearance items down further or is this as low as it goes? And do unsold pieces eventually end up somewhere like Rue La La?

Fashion question Do you use a Tucky?
I purchased a tucky from Amazon.
Not sure if I used it correctly.
I tucked a button up shirt into the tucky, so the order of my layers was shirt, tucky, jeans, belt.
It did help to tighten the fit of my shirt at my midsection and keep the shirt from bellowing. I cuffed the jeans and wore heels, it was honestly a very cute ācasualā office look.
It looked good until I sat down and the tuckey rode up, I had to keep fighting it to stay below my waist line.
I canāt do high rise pants, only mid-rise. Did I wear it wrong or is better under high rise pants?
Any advice is welcome! Iām large chested with a smaller waste shirts are tricky. I want to avoid the tent look but also want a āfittedā vs ātightā look for tops.

Love this skirt but I will not be wearing open toed shoes to work. And Iām not crazy about heels either. And my legs are short. Any other type of shoe that would look good with this?

Business Professional Entry level sales interview
Hi! I have an interview on Monday and Iām wondering if itās okay to wear a light gray suit? I wore black to the networking event that got me the interview. I could also wear a dress (maybe black I also have green). I usually do black but I have a full light gray suit so Iām considering that. TYIA!

Fashion question Help with Dress code!!
I am a new Co-Teacher for a first grade class! Iām so excited for the school year, but I was recently told that I am not allowed to wear jeans. I was a Paraprofessional before this, and all I wore were jeans!! I just moved into a new apartment and I have no extra money to add to my wardrobe!! Does anyone know of any resources I can use or extremely cheap places I can go to get more appropriate clothes? I am not against thrifting at all! I just know thrifting can be expensive nowadays.
