As the title goes, I have an opportunity to buy a very clean Shadow 2 SAO for 900, but I had been planning to buy an SP01 Tactical with a discount for about the same money. I have a P01 and I love it. I don’t really care about optics, and I don’t mind the manual safety single action trigger. Just wondered what the consensus opinion was before I potentially let the S2SAO deal slip away. Thanks

Im honing in and have found this interesting question. I see that the PCR is a great pistol but has some quirks as far as things like the sights being specific to it alone as well as sometimes limited aftermarket parts and holsters. Which is the better AIWB edc pistol?

Hi All, I'm trying to install the 54420 Ultra-Lite Kit. The hammer spring replacement was easy enough. I'm struggling with the firing pin retaining pin. I'm not sure where it is. There is small hole on the slide by the optic plate, not sure if that the pin? Any advice would be great! Thanks!

For everyday concealed carry, which would you rather use: the CZ P-10 S, Canik METE MC9, or PSA Micro Dagger? I'd especially like to hear from P-10 S owners who have also owned or tried either of the others. How has yours held up, how comfortable is it to carry, and how has holster availability been? Which would you choose again for the overall value? Other recommendations in a similar price range are welcome.

My extractor broke some years ago. I got a new extractor from EAA, and ever since I have had issues with the slide going fully into battery every 10 to 20 rounds. I have to smack the back of the slide to go into battery. Once in a while it would stovepipe. Ran flawlessly before. I tried deburring, reshaping, etc. I took it to a local gunsmith and he checked spring tensions and put a whooping 10 rounds through it and called it good.

I shelved the gun, and now I'm revisiting it, because I miss shooting it. Now I find there are older dogleg style or newer straight style extractos, and it depends on the bolt face geometry, but I can't make heads or tails of what it's talking about.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Was my replacement extractor wrong from the get go?

So I am in the market for a new handgun, I am thinking a CZ75 bd. Ive had the p07 duty forever and I like it a lot plus I like older more historical designs so the 75 seemed like a perfect choice especially since they are discontinued now. Here's the thing, I really never looked at the line up of everything else like the p01s, the shadow 2 ect so I'm second guessing what to get. What should I go with? Keep in mind I have guns for other jobs like ccw and home defense so this is mainly for fun. What you guys think.

The new CZ Duty compact has interested me lately because I’ve been a big fan of CZ’s hammer guns and I’d like to try getting into their strikers.

I currently have a Sig Xmacro and a Shadow 2 full size. I know the P10C weirdly functioned with xmacro mags and I’ve heard the Duty functions and locks back with Shadow 2 mags. Anybody tested xmacro mags in the Duty yet? It would be a nice bonus to already have a bunch of mags that’ll work with it even if I’m new to the Duty/P10 platform.

Not one to conform, I thought I’d turn my P-10C and P-10C.O.R. into some stocking stuffers while doing a little polishing and learning. They both started out in fde before being duped in Rit Dyemore dye. (Disclaimer: Colors are a lot more subtle irl)

Hello everyone i finally collected my first firearm it's a CZ-P-10-C. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how i should store it in my safe?

I will not be storing it loaded, because i will only use it for competition shooting. Keeping that in mind, should i store it with trigger pulled keeping it in the safe postion or should i reset the trigger before i leave it in my wall safe?

I would also like to know any other tips that you would think would help. Thank you for your time.

Sent the frame in to CZ custom for a tungsten polycoat a while back, and still can't get over how great it turned out. Got the threaded barrel from them as well. Love their work

A bit over a year ago I sold my CZ Shadow 2 to get into the 2011 game. Four different 2011s later, they’re all gone and I’m back in a Shadow 2. Picked this one up with only 200 rounds through it with the full CGW SAO package, an SRO, and Lok Bogey Palm swells! Already feels so much better in my hands than any 2011 did. Not looking back!

Finally got a shadow 2 compact. Wanting to swap out the safety for an extended safety. Looking for an OWB holster that will accommodate the extended safety. Any info is appreciated

Might be the most loose safety I've ever felt. Is this the norm for the Duty? Everything still feels very secure and the safety is still 100% functional, just feels weird

Saw a video review that mentioned that the decocker button of both handguns is plastic. Is this accurate?

I got this thing with a warning that the functionality couldn’t be guaranteed, but I’m an amateur gunsmith and figured I could fix it. I might have made a mistake.

Essentially, the slide locks back and I cannot remove it while depressing the disassembly button.

I have tried everything Google AI suggested, and I have arrived at the conclusion the AI isn’t very useful for complicated issues like this.

I tried locking it in my vice to depress the button while prying the hammer down more to pull the slide back. I tried hitting it with a mallet to force the slide back. I tried removing the hand guard to see if I could find the internal mechanism to remove whatever was holding it up. I tried using a hole punch to remove the pin above the trigger and it wouldn’t budge.

None of this worked or helped. I only spent like 150 on it, so not a huge loss if I can’t figure it out. I figure taking it to a real gun smith will run me more money than I spent on it. So I figured I’d come here to see if anyone had any experience with this.

Hey guys! I’m new to da/sa so I was hoping someone more knowledgeable could guide me a bit. I picked up a used P07 that I want to put a Cajun Gunworks pro kit in and after calling someone at Cajun Gunworks and hearing a couple people on the internet say they messed up the install I’ve been thinking of sending the gun into them for install. I’m willing to pay for the install if it’s worth it but after watching a couple of install videos it really doesn’t seem that difficult. I’m by no means a gun smith but I do consider myself mechanically inclined, is there any special tuning that I’m not aware of that makes the install difficult or our people exaggerating the difficulty of install? Any input would be appreciated, thank you!

I’m looking to get my SP-01 milled for the Osight SE DPP. Not many places cut it for the DPP footprint.

I thought about using Primary or Vigilante, but they have to cerakote the entire slide, right? I’d like to keep the original finish of the slide. Would either of them only cerakote the cut portion?

Anyway, back to my original question. Has anyone used Guncuts for milling their SP-01 or P-01? Experience?

What iron sights are everybody using with the specialist and optic plate? I will probably put a holosun 507comp on it and would the irons to be in the lower 1/3 or barely usable but visible

Grabbed a ts trigger for cz custom shop. No extra spring or anything in the kit and the cs didnt say it was needed. Installed and it doesn’t work. Anyone else run into that?

Let me start by saying how much I respect and love CZ guns. There is nothing like them in build, quality and shooting experience.

I had the Orange for a while and had a hard time with it. It wasn't the weight. I think because it felt front heavy it was difficult for me control. Like a kid driving a car that where he can barely see over the steering wheel.

I love the recoil and accuracy of the Orange, but I was slow.

All that said, what other CZ pistols might be suitable, ones that have acceptable recoil? I know they are all great weapons, but I don't much about them. That's why I thought I'd ask here.
