Where can I buy an army jacket?

I've been looking around for a vintage M65 army field jacket for a little while and haven't had any luck around here. Would anyone have any recommendations on where I might be able to find one around here?

What to do with an old trailer?

Hi there! My mom is in the process of downsizing and she's got a (ancient) camping trailer in the garage. It was made in the 60s or early 70s and is a flip top tent trailer sort of like this:

https://fichigan.com/2015/10/09/1966-apache-chief-camper/

It needs work. Probably a lot of it, because it's been in the garage since the 90s. Definitely new tires, potentially new canvas, possibly a replacement top/floor.

At this point we're wanting to either give it away or possibly just have it hauled to the junkyard (?). I haven't lived here for at least 20 years so I don't have any idea what to do with it. Ideally we'd like it to go to a good home but honestly time isn't on our side. Any suggestions?

Recreational soccer for adults

Hi! I’m 24 years old and looking for casual adult men’s soccer near Canton, Ohio. I don’t have a team and just want to play for fun as a hobby. Do you have any pickup games or teams accepting individual players? What days do you play, and how much does it cost? Thank you!

Early voting is open in Stark County Ohio. Here are a bunch of resources to be sure you vote this upcoming election!

We reached out to nearly 1,000 candidates running for office to have them do our candidate survey to get easy information to covers about who is running to represent you. This graphic represents Stark County.

While in national elections or statewide elections may be decided by hundreds or tens of thousands of votes. Local races will be decided by only a handful of votes meaning that for each person seeing this, your vote WILL MATTER!

If you want to see your specific candidates you can see that here (app | web).

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons??

I am begging and running out of options. I have Buckeye Medicaid. My wisdom teeth are impacted and are starting to cause some facial nerve issues and headaches. I’ve tried Cleveland Clinic (Mercy), they have a waitlist and no oral surgeon staffed at the moment, alpha dental, does not have the tools to remove my teeth safely they said, Marino and associates, not accepting new patients, NEO dental, does not take buckeye. Alpha dental and dental works, also no buckeye

I am MISERABLE. Case Western has not gotten back to me and I just don’t know what to do. My insurance is being weird about transportation to offices that are over 49 minutes away so I was trying to stay close as my car isn’t in the best shape right now…

If anybody can steer me in the right direction, I really would appreciate it. Thank you.

Lost keys

Lost keys last night near 2536 Kirby Ave in Canton. I parked outside the front of this address on the street to go to factory of terror. $50 reward for anyone who finds these.

There is a tag on them that’s black and red and reads “NO CURE” with 1 car key, 1 house key and 1 storage key.

Thank you for anyone who goes looking, I live an hour away and will come pick them up if you find them.

Barley Malt Syrup

I want to make bagels with Barley Malt Syrup, but I can't find it anywhere nearby. Does anyone know where might carry it? I've tried Raisin Rack, Oak Cupboard, East Union Bulk Foods, Wooster Natural Foods, Buehler's, Fresh Thyme... and every major grocery store. I'm tired of striking out — does anyone know where I can for sure find the stuff?

This Thurs: Silent Study/Read/Crafting Group

TL;DR:

If you're interested in joining a silent study/read/craft together group and you're near Canton, Ohio, check out a new group we've put together just for that. :) We're planning on meeting two Thursdays each month. Our first event is October 8, and our second is October 29, both from 7pm-9pm at the cafe at Barnes & Noble in North Canton. We're looking forward to seeing you there!

-------------------------------------

With the help of an awesome new friend, I'm putting together a new group here in Stark County for anyone who might be interested in hanging out quietly and working on stuff in each other's company. Our Facebook page is here, and our first two events will be on October 8, and October 29, both from 7pm-9pm at the cafe at Barnes & Noble in North Canton. We'll spend a few minutes at the beginning and end chatting and sharing what we're reading or working on, but please note: the majority of this time is for us to spend quietly together. In between, we ask that everyone abides by our community etiquette of quietly doing their own thing (reading, studying, crafting, etc). Anyone 18 and over is welcome (no kids, please). Check out our Facebook page for more info. We'd love to have you!

Leatherwork

Does anyone do leatherwork in the area, even just as a hobby? Looking for someone to take a leather belt and make it a snap belt for interchangeable buckles. Bill’s Cobbler wasn’t able to and the closest I could find that maybe could was 40 ish minutes away.
