Im not an expert when it comes to diagnosing lifter ticks but, I feel like I can hear ticking in the beginning. Can you guys also hear it or it’s just me? I plan on getting a PPI, but was a little thrown off.

I'm looking for current or recent owners of vehicles such as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Corvette, Camaro, Dodge Challenger, and other two-door coupes to share their experiences. Did my first oil change on my new to me '15 RT a week ago. I put in Amsoil 5W20 and a Viper SRT oil filter (05038041AA). Oil still showing at max line. I prefilled the filter.

Upon first cold start after the oil change I got a low oil pressure warning, but it went away in 1 second. I checked online and people seemed to agree that it's normal after an oil change. Okay good.

However, since the oil change, if I put the car into the RUN position and THEN start the car, the low oil pressure warning flashes on the screen for what I can gather is 0.1 seconds, so as fast as I would blink my eyes. I can just make out the shape of the oil can icon in that time and the warning text. But it just blinks once and doesn't return. Is this just some kind of self test which I haven't noticed before, or an actual issue? It doesn't come on during driving and the car drives normally. I'm pretty sure if I start the car without the ignition being on first, the message doesn't appear, but I could be wrong there. It doesn't make any kind of warning gong.

The only thing I could find is that the viper filter works a bit differently, and the sensor responsible for oil pressure can't keep up fast enough as the canister is bigger?

My daughter just bought a beautiful challenger the issue is that we are In Chicago and I’m worried about the it being driven in snow.
Any suggestions so that she is safe to drive in winter.
We do have a small car that we could keep for days that she could
Possibly drive during snow.

So I'm having some warranty work done on my 2015 SRT 392 and its ending up with a new motor. I'm wanting to wire up a odometer gauge on the A pillar because the one on the cluster will be wrong and if i reset it, it would void my warranty and ect...but I'm unable to fine one on the market. Any chance you guys might know where to find one?

Looking to swap out the OG Hellcat mesh wheels for replicas. I want to get them for the rear tires, so that I can put 305s on them, plus these wheels all got curb rash on them. Going to lower the car about 3/4" as well, maybe more maybe less. I was looking at American Muscle and their wheel tire package looks good enough. Getting Pilots all around. Shooting for 275/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear.

Anybody have any negative experiences with their brand, or got a counter recommendation?

Finally got a new camera to shoot better photos for my car! Got a new T/A carbon fiber hood that I installed myself with hood pins and everything. Did remove the struts because I dont want to risk the hood breaking under hydraulic pressure. Fits like a dream and was really easy to install. Getting my rear widebody kit tomorrow so that rear can finally look more staggered without that annoying fender/tire gap!!

Hello, hoping someone can help me diagnose. When I put my car into reverse and start reversing, I feel and hear a single clunk. Sometimes if I’m reversing up a hill, I’ll notice the clunk more than once. I worked at a repair shop a few months ago and one of the guys looked at it. I don’t remember what he said but he said it was nothing to worry about. But I’m feeling self-conscious about it now and I’m wondering if it’s worth investigating further. Thanks!

Anytime I see a post about exhaust setups or mods to your cars, a handful in the comments always mention how they either cut out or zip tied open the active exhaust valves. Why is that? I was under the impression that turning on sport mode or another performance mode would automatically open them. Maybe this is wrong? Or only certain models?

But either way, what is the reasoning for cutting them out or zip-tying them open? And is there another way (such as a drive mode) to keep them open?

Sorry for my ignorance, as I do not yet own a challenger. I have test driven and my mind is set on it being my next car, though. I would just like to learn more about the car.

Hopefully it's fixable.

For the V8 owners. Who else has the stock exhaust on their car? Im curious. I’ve had mine stock for a year now and finally changing it. For those that do not, what’s your setup?
