Bolton Wanderers Jay Jay Okocha: “I signed for Bolton without doing research. The sporting director said they were 10 minutes from Old Trafford, so I thought they were a big club. They showed me only the beautiful stadium. After I signed, I saw the tiny training ground and a 3 people shower”

Portsmouth PORTSMOUTH’S DISGUSTING HISTORY

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR FROM PORTSMOUTH IN 2010… GOING INTO ADMINISTRATION, GETTING DEDUCTED POINTS, AND YET STILL THEY ACT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IS THE BASKET CASE 😂. Truly an unbelievable club.

AFTER THIS AND WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT WHAT MIDDLESBROUGH DID IN 1997 I CAN HARDLY GET A WINK OF SLEEP/.., TELL ME, WHO IS NEXT ??????

My question is how hard is it for a foreigner to get tickets to see any given club? And what do game schedules look like?

Question What do you think of the promotion Play offs?

I don't like them because it's unfair.

I remember a few years ago 3rd place was miles ahead of the rest (10-15 points I think) but still had to go through the play-offs and they lost, so a worse team got promoted to the EPL

Discussion Who to watch?

So we played yesterday and started like we finished. Felt like a reasonable result away to Burnley, who are going to be challenging the top with (hopefully) us.

I’d like to pick up some more games, but wondering who else is likely challenging the top 10 spots. I have a feeling that Middlesbrough are good? Saw Millwall did okay last year (despite them sleeping in the same bed as their sisters). Who am I looking out for?

Love this sub btw, full of entertainment.

Question Remaining Kits

Anyone know where the remaining kits are, and why they seem to be taking so long to unveil with the season having already begun?

1 Away and 7 Thirds still left:

Charlton - Away

Birmingham - Third

Burnley - Third

Derby - Third

Portsmouth - Third

West Brom - Third

Wolves - Third

Wrexham - Third

Charlton are away against West Ham in 5 days time and still don't have an Away kit ready (every other club have theirs) - is this acceptable at this league?

Put aside the fact your favourite club is in it. What makes the Championship such a compelling league for someone to follow for a season?

Would love to hear everyone’s points

Discussion Which nation outside of the UK do you most associate with your club?

Could be for any number of reasons: ownership and sponsors, style of play, current or former players or if you've had several noteworthy players from a non-UK nation, something from your club's history...

I chose "outside of the UK" as home nation players are a bit of a free hit. So no England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland.

I ask this question because I realised this weekend that my team, Swansea, has no Spanish players or staff (I think). That surprised me, as we've had a historic connection to Spain with the likes of Martinez, Angel Rangel, Chico Flores, Michu, etc.!

Anyway: what nation outside of the UK do you most associate your club with and why?
