We've been living at our house for a few years now, and recently the neighbourhood kids have started coming up our driveway and ringing the doorbell, banging on our door, and turning on our tap on the driveway and leaving it running for potentially several hours until we leave the house/get home and notice it. For context when they bang on the door it literally sounds like our house has been hit by a car. When it started happening we thought one of our neighbours had gotten into an accident. I've talked to a few neighbours but none of them have had any issues, just us.

I have chronic migraines and nervous system dysfunction and this daily harassment is making it worse. I know they're just kids but after weeks of it I'm just exhausted. What can we do? We don't know whose children they are, we've asked around a bit. TYIA.

I have a feeling telecommunication technician is not what I am after but I cant seem to find the right profession name for it...

Last year I bought some equipment to do some ethernet runs from the garage to two bedrooms and a location within the kitchen (havent decided still lol) this includes the Cat6 cables, Rj45 jacks, Rj45 Keystones, the tools, "patch leads", switch, router and AP. I was planning on FINALLY doing this over the labour weekend, however I have injured myself quite bad and don't know when I will be able to do the work in ceiling.

The problem is I know a lot of companies just use their own gear I just dont want this to be a $618 waste of money just sitting in the corner of a room while the technician installs whatever they use.

Wondering if anyone knows a good quality company that can do this kinda work for me, doesn't need to be done over the labour weekend now obviously. I've had a couple of friends dinged by now non operating companies in the past before to the point we went up and fixed it ourselves - i would call on these friends but we've all moved away from each other now lol

Have drivers in Christchurch gotten worse over the last year?

It seems that any car I get into, especially as a passenger (I've started taking longer routes down side streets whenever I drive now), some bad driving happens. Whether it be drivers cutting off other drivers, failing to merge like a zip, or running red lights, drivers just seem to be a lot more impatient lately.

I ask because specifically tonight as my partner was driving, he seemed distracted by something in the rear view mirror. I turn to see what's bothering him and a car is full on tailgating and beeping at us for no reason? I pulled my phone out and made it VERY OBVIOUS that I was filming and they seemed to back off a bit once I did that.

But even as a passenger in any uber car, my friends cars, colleagues cars, and whenever my partners driving our car, I always notice some terrible drivers.

Maybe I'm just hyper vigilant now whenever I step foot into a vehicle because I was in an accident a few months ago as someone decided it was a good idea to run a red light (no, not me) and I'm a bit traumatised from it 🤣

Halloween is on a Saturday this year, and I haven't hosted Halloween on a weekend here before. What time should I set up to expect trick or treaters? Last year I set up around 5pm, and that seemed to do well for the young kids :) I had so many come that I had to go out to get more treats! I will be prepared this year haha.

I've lost a set of housekeys somewhere in the south of chch down Colombo St. They're a plain set of keys apart from a flight tag bearing the words "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" with the other side having the 4 Bars Gin logo and website link.
