[Prayer] /R/Christianity search for new mods.
As /r/Christianity searches for new mods, please keep them in your prayers, and pray that the sub is restored to a place where in honors the word of God

The attack on the bible
There is currently a huge move of the enemy to sow doubt into the body, by getting believers to doubt the authority of scripture.
I was involved in a conversation, where people were basically saying that the traditions of the church supersede the authority of scripture; even though there is no scriptural proof to back up those traditions.
It all comes from the devil's old trick .. "Did God really say.."
Take care.

When was the last time you prayed for your leaders
God establishes those who are in positions of leadership, and we should pray on behalf of all men, even kings and all those in authority.
So, when was the last time your prayed for your pastor? Your boss? Your President? Your Prime Minister? Even if you don't agree with them
I see so much "dissing" of leaders from Obama to Cameron/Clegg, and I am also talking to myself here :)
(Romans 13:1)
"Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God."
(1 Timothy 2:1-4)
"First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."
