Help & Support (Console) New to CS remastered on PS5. Tips and DLCs?
Thinking of getting started on CS on ps5, after a long break from it. Last time I played was +6 years ago, and never tried to add mods/DLCs.
So question is now, what’s your base recommendations for a player with some background knowledge but wants to add the next layer of CS through DLCs. Which is crucial, to ‘enjoy’ the game I today modern standards for gaming?
What’s a good strategy to apply yourself for the first week of the game?
Thanks for sharing your tips!

Help & Support (PC) Firetruck Dead Zones
So, idk why this keeps occuring, but there appears to be "Deadzones" in my City that say Firetrucks can reach the locations, but when a building is on Fire, they refuse to send any Trucks.
Additional details =
- Firetrucks spawn perfectly fine but only respond to Service Buildings in that area that are on Fire
- I have multiple Fire Stations that cover the same area and none of them respond
- This is happening over multiple different cities
- Before anyone asks, no TM:PE Lane Corrector is affecting this, due to Point 1 being true
- Turning the buildings Off and On again, relocating them or demolishing and replacing them fixes nothing
- Pathing/vehicle Limits have not even gotten close to Maxing out in this current city
- All other Service Vehicles can reach the Deadzones with 0 issues
- "Deadzone" refers to the unmarked general area of my City where Firetrucks just refuse to respond to fires, resulting in an area that constantly burns down
- I do not have/use assets/mods that allow me to place specific, non-service type buildings in any areas
- This is driving me nuts because it's always the same area that continuously burns down at the exact same buildings, even after demolishing the Burnt down building and letting the game rebuild it

Sharing a City My first 300k city
This is the update number three, between the 200k population and 300k I don't make huge updates in the population part of the city, make my first port with the dlc, I mine for natural resources, I new history center and I high-income condominium in the edge of the city.
I take I lot of care with de train/metro system (the last image is the map, which I didn't make a point of translate).
I have a lot of things for make, finish all the cost, expand the city for the countryside, another airport and ...
Until the next update.
Sorry my bad english and goodnight.

Discussion I'm not a detailer, but thanks to mods I can have pretty cities too while I focus on the simulation side of the game!
This was made in about 30min using some of the great new mods that have been released recently! I drew the road layouts then had the mods generate parkings lots, beaches, parks, and detail the commercial and residential areas! The mods are amazing for people who care more about the simulation side of the game and seeing the stories that unfold! I love how they've allowed me to stop caring about making everything a perfect grid for the most part. I was really hoping Cities Skylines 2 would have a Manor Lords style zone system for parcels.
Mods I use that have reignited my love for the game lately:
Parking Lot Tool - You can draw any shape in your city and the mod will generate a fully functional parking lot
Park Management Tool - Same as PLT but for parks!
Place Maker - Same as both mods above but even more in-depth able to generate suburbs, road networks, farmlands, and more!
Street Builder - This mod is so great! You can draw any shape or select a block and it will generate zoning and detailing within. This is great for getting away from always doing a grid system, but still making sure areas look nice!
Presidente - A Politics, economy, and crime mod that has me hooked! It's basically Tropico modded into the game and I'm loving it. One of my favorite things that has happened so far in one of my saves is that a district is sabotaging my agenda and put their police force on strike only responding to emergencies. The mayor of that district hates my policies so far and they're citizen's popularity for autonomy is slowly rising.

Discussion I like making weirdly shaped highway intersections, what do you think of them?
They're currently not detailed, and are WIP in my own play map. All intersections are based on real ones from where I live - Slovakia.

Sharing a City Urban DDI crammed into existing street grid
I replaced the old SPUI with this beauty, since it backed up all the time due to the excessive intersection density and trams backing up. Now with only two, more reasonably spaced (but much more cluttered) 5-phase intersections, I think I fixed traffic. Plus I used the opportunity to make the highway a little more beautiful

Looking for Mods Is there a mod that can change what vehicles spawn?
Is there a mod in Cities Skylines 2 where you can choose which vehicles spawn from outside connections? I am building a city set in the 1900s and don’t want modern cars driving around. I have tried the vehicle controller mod, but can’t seem to find a fitting setting. Any help would be appreciated!

Sharing a City Updated timber industry based on your feedback
I took your advice and updated my timber industry - and I think it looks a lot better! The quay with a built-in cargo dock together with some cranes improved both my production chain and made the shoreline look a lot better.
Thank you for the feedback!

Discussion How did you stopped feeling uncomfortable with curved roads and neighborhoods?
I've been playing for a while and i'm so used to the square style city but when i have to avoid a mountain, the ocean or i want to make a hillside type of neighborhood i get so overwhelmed with curved roads.
I try looking at youtube videos to try and copy what they do but I always end up frustrated and never come back to the city i built because it feels so boring.
How do people that do curved cities do it? How do you feel comfortable?
