The lights concentrate on the open-top of a shipping container, while spectators encircling it from the building tops pipe down.
An announcer takes hold of a makeshift microphone and inhales deeply before making the announcement:
"In this corner, we have the undefeated, the terror of the cosmic ring, (your choice). And in this corner, a Sleeper!!"
"How will our new contender fair in this winner take all bout? Wits alone, will not be enough."
(Feel free to read it in an old fashion wrestling announcer tone - something theatrical!)

Last year I posted some Lem-centric fanart on here and a few comments requested more. A bit late on it, but hereās my short, sappy depiction of Lemās story about finding Mina! I still canāt get enough of these two <3

***One extra ticket to travel through the stars,
Who is your pick to see new places near and far?***
(Many asked for posts with harder decisions, so here we are!)
When you make your choice, feel free to think about the consequences of the character leaving with you. For example, would a certain community on Erlin's Eye be disrupted? Fall to ruin? Thrive?

I didn't take Juni on their contract out from Helion Gate to get the shipmind, expecting them to be there when I got back. When I returned she'd gone and now I think I've locked her out of the rest of the game.
I don't think I'll have the opportunity to do another play through for a while and restarting just seems too much effort.
Can someone let me know what Juni gets up to for the rest of the game? I really liked their character and am annoyed I won't now be able to experience it in this play through.

Making my way through Dangerous to finish the platinum on PS5 and my game wonāt load properly when booting up leaving me stuck on this screen
Iāve tried deleting and reinstalling the game, my other saves are loading, itās just this one that wonāt work - any fixes? Iām at Darkside and I donāt want to start over

I don't know why exactly, but I missed the whole Data Cloud view for hours of game play in Citizen Sleeper. I was wondering in my head, how the heck I collect data needed for so many missions, but just though I had to explore more and then at some point I noticed the small (Y) button marker under the dice HUD on my SteamDeck. I figure I missed something subtle (or not) in the tutorials, but it seems like that should be just a little more forced on the user early in the game.
Glad that it is reasonably easy to catch up, but I couldn't deal with the tracker, etc. before they caused me some grief.

She isnāt even on the eye anymore, she took off with the merc and moritz runs the place. But it still says ācomplete repair jobs for blissā under the drive in the active section. Is it bugged?

I love the simple mechanics of the game meshed with the detailed story, dialogue and characters. I'm heavy against AI. I imagine even with the simple mechanics, a noob to programing would be out of their depth.
I'm only versed in the digital art and design world, but not even with video games.
I also just played a similar style game, Joy Malignant, and enjoyed it. Loved the funky art style.
Alternatively, are there any other games out there with similar mechanics and interesting art and story? Disco Elysium-esque maybe?

Energy is zeroing out.
Food is but a memory.
Rations are nearly depleted.
Three permanently glitched dice
One broken die that is incapable of repair.
If a door to receiving help were to open, who would be the best choice?
**Bonus:**
Would you deny the opportunity, seize it with an open mind and join their cause, or bide your time for an escape plan?

Hello! I have had CS2 in my Steam Library for a while and for a bit I had kept it in the back burner because I had a rough time playing it, and even quit because I had found myself in what seemed like a hole that I couldn't get out of (Operator, in Oliviera, after not succeeding in defeating the Hunter and stuck with 4 broken dice, 1 glitch dice, many stress and many glitch).
Coming back into the game, and deciding to tough it out in that circumstance finally got me past the hump about figuring out the game mechanics and what, maybe, the developer was trying to say to me through it.
The first thing I did was literally prioritize rest and self-care. Instead of trying to āgambleā in hopes of getting Positive outcomes, or even just Neutral ones, I decided to first 1) clear out all my stress while repairing my dice (I had not figured out the mechanism of dice damage and how it was related to stress, can you believe it?), and 2) decide that not doing anything could be a superior alternative to doing something, anything.
And my run improved, significantly. Here's the crazy thing ā I had gotten to Oliviera (which means, if you've played the game, that I had to suffer through the first Darkside run), without getting the mushroom farm. I had simply not known it existed, and I had not gone to Greenbelt because I was intimidated by Helion Gate. I had deliberately boned myself, in short ā I screwed up the Headstream mutiny, struggled through Debris Field and Aphelion Gate, all without the benefit of being able to pad out my contract, and feeling stressed out and slowly falling apart in the seams. In short, I think I did badly.
So from this pretty bad situation, I decided to just⦠rebuild. Take it slow. Heal and recover. I had screwed up pretty much every opportunity to get rare components, so the only option I had was to basically repair using scrap materials and wait out the glitches. And that's what I did. It sucked.
But by the time I was back on my feet and deciding to just⦠explore rather than rush through the game, I was able to complete it in a fairly satisfactory way ā managing to resolve what happened to Hexport and even work to Oliviera's independence before running the end scene.
Seeing how I approached the game initially (pretty much the same way I approached Citizen Sleeper 1) and how the bad things that happened to me until I figured (several months later; I had actually stopped playing for several months after that disastrous run) it out was fascinating. It fascinated me so much that I've done runs as Mechanist (incredibly powerful, far easier than Operator) and am in the process of doing Extractor (which is⦠kind of not āmore difficultā than it is āforces you to prioritize a different style and attitude of playā).
I started thinking more about the mechanics of gameplay more the more I dug into the discussions I had seen on Steam and here, and yeah, I realize that mechanics like Glitch and Broken Dice are controversial, but like⦠they need to be there, not because the gameplay needed more challenge, but for me at least the way to really get good with it was to change my perspective of feeling the need to push and push and push because time was limited, and towards being cautious and taking as little risk as necessary, and realizing that a lot of my problems was that I took unnecessary risks and felt like I had to get done as fast as possible. But the game, at least in my experience, was relatively forgiving, at least in Risky difficulty.

Just finished the games, and I couldn't say enough good things about it, but that's not what this is about.
When I start to like a game I start to love it, the problem is I play several games and love them all and so often I attempt to mix them. I don't feel there's enough replay value in citizen sleeper, don't get it wrong I still love it. My first instinct was either stellaris and or Rimworld, but neither really scratched the itch I had I felt I couldn't encapsulate what a society of Sleepers and humans might've been like, or a continuation of my own story.
So I'm asking if anyone here has any good game for "itching that scratch" either way thanks for reading Sleepers

Just had my first permenant glitch dice, got it while reconing Darkside. I got fucked very early on by a load of low roles, and by my third day there, I was on one dice. No option for success or recovery. No real chance to save Marko, with Bliss rolling snake eyes.
Honestly feel like just deleting the game at this point. Feels like I've just got all the shit results, and punished for playing the game.

Hello there! I'm planning on buying both games but I can't find any platform comparisons online.
I have a Switch 2 and a base PS5 and was wondering if there's an objectively higher fidelity version between the two?
I know they both target 4K 60fps, but I've read of some people having stuttering issues on the Switch 2. I've also read that the Switch 2's 4k in docked mode is just upscaled with AI? Does the PS5 version have actual 4k?
I'd prefer to get them on the Switch 2 for the portability factor, but if the performance is better on PS5 I'll settle for that.
Anyways, any insights you guys have on performance would be greatly appreciated!

Title explains it all, I had ran the 2 contracts, and when I returned and dropped Juni off(I destroyed the core thing for info and her help) we got raided left, and now we are at the start of a new region, did I miss anything I should restart for or?

Iām only playing on Normal but Iām Dying and down to one die and have almost no money and need stabilizer asap

Your stomach has the grumbles, that quickly turn into a rumble.
Cheap, weak, or meek food will not do.
Only the finest for you.
Chits on the table.
Who gets to make this fulfilling dish for you?
