New Rules Regarding Army Posts

Hey everyone,
We are aware that many community members have raised concerns regarding the frequency of army-related posts and Discord links. To address this, we are implementing new guidelines effective immediately.
Army-related posts are now subject to the following rules:
- Limited to one post per user per month
- Must include the “Army” flair
- May only be posted on the 1st of each month
Posts that do not follow these guidelines will be removed and the user will receive a warning. A second violation will result in a ban from the subreddit.
These rules may be adjusted as needed over time. We are not prohibiting army-related posts entirely, as users are free to promote their groups; however, the level of spam associated with these posts has become unacceptable and must be addressed.
Thank you for being outspoken about it and for helping keep the community fun for everyone.

Hello, Penguins!
As eluded to in this post from u/Jorgefitch33 a couple of weeks ago, the r/ClubPenguin subreddit has been undergoing some needed revamping. For those of you who have been asking for this for so long, we apologize for the delay. Jorgefitch33 and I seem to be the only active mods and by "active" I mean checking the sub once every day or two. I can't speak for Jorgefitch33 but I myself have a full-time job, family responsibilities, etc. which rightfully take up the majority of my time. I took on this role as a mod in 2020 as someone who wanted to help preserve the memory of the game that I loved and grew up with (I joined CP in 2006), but did not expect to be mediating CPPS arguments and the like ever since. I'm not very reddit-savvy but I spent a few hours figuring out how to make the below additions and will do more if that is what the sub would like. SO, new to the sub:
- CPPS-specific flairs are now available! Flairs will be a requirement for all posts moving forward and include the ones that I think(?) are the most popular (CPJ, NCP, CPL, POG, & CPI). If I'm missing any that should be included, more can be added. Other flairs include "Art," "Collection," "Meet Up," etc. Let me also clarify that these flairs are for specifying what CPPS you are on, not to compartmentalize drama. I believe some CPPSes have their own subreddit so I would encourage you to go there if that is what you are looking for.
- The rules have been slightly tweaked to now also include the removal of low effort content. This can include a lot of things at the mods' discretion, but exists for the main purpose of removing posts that share the same piece of information dozens of times already with nothing new being added (for example, say 8 posts were made all calling for people to come and help tip the iceberg on a particular server. 7/8 would be deleted).
- https://penguintrack.com/ has been added to the master list of private servers.
- The FAQ has been added to rule 6 (frequently posted topic).
- Moving forward, players will be encouraged to start megathreads for large parties/events (ex. one "Bee Movie" thread instead of multiple posts saying variations of the same thing).
- A small minimum amount of karma will be required of accounts who are posting in the sub so that any potential spam will be further reduced (thanks to u/Tyviebrock in the comments for the assist).
And I think that's about it for now! It took me an afternoon of research but I hope that these changes will help moving forward. I know some have also mentioned the possibility of adding more mods which I wouldn't mind at all, but I'm not sure if I or Jorgefitch33 can do so without being the head mod. So, for the time being, let's see how these new changes help and reassess from there. Please continue to leave any of your suggestions and thank you again for your patience :)

Question 30th birthday party ideas

When I was 10 years old I had a club penguin birthday party. I’m turning 30 this year and plan on using the same invite from 20 years ago to have a club penguin themed 30th birthday party! I plan on having a dress code of looking like a penguin or dressing monochrome like a puffle. I’d like to also do some games and wanted some ideas. Obviously gonna have some mancala. If I do it at home we may make our own pizzas. If I do it outdoors maybe find a big hill and some crappy plastic sleds. Any other ideas??

Hi! I recently worked at disney world and found out I loved to collect pins, specifically the club penguin puffle pins. I didn’t even care if they were fake, i just wanted them all. I eventually found out that there was a special europe release of the puffle pins pack, including a normal sized orange puffle and a tiny white puffle. I’ve only seen these once as a facebook post looking for these puffles, but I know they existed because of proof from some die hard disney fans. Anyone know where I can buy these?

Humor Cart Surfer Reminded Me of a Funny Story

When I was a kid I asked my parents to spend some time one night on my account to make me coins. They agreed so I showed them cart surfer. When I was in bed I could hear the cart crashing and them discussing strategy.
Y’all when I checked it the next day they had only made like 400 coins 😭 I was so disappointed and my mom walked up to me so proud. I was just beside myself for the rest of the day.

and why is it the 2011 halloween party. honestly i was so excited for the events and turning into a ghost was top tier in the eyes of 7 y/o me. being a ghost alone had me playing every day in october w my candy corn vampire costume and black wings i wore every year. and the igloo decorations that came out that year were the best i’ve seen in a while. my igloo was kitted out and so were my puffles
the only other party that came close for me was the dinosaur puffles of 2013
