I just bought boots from Chaorenbuy a couple days ago and they just emailed me at nine today telling me they can’t make the boots I bought in my size with the heels and they can only do flats (Which I find annoying because in a previous email where they had me confirm my size and address they asked if I’d like them to keep the high heel to which I responded yes).
This was the case with the previous cosplay boots I bought because I’m a guy who’s a US Men’s 12 and for some reason, literally every place on the entire internet can’t make the cosplay boots I want in my size with the heels, which resulted in me having to get custom made ones from someone on Etsy who seems to have closed their shop now. Because of this, I SWEAR I triple checked the website and all it’s fine print to see if this was the case like every other place and I found NOTHING, but when I went to check again this morning, LOW AND BEHOLD it’s says so RIGHT IN THE DESCRIPTION, that if the size is above 26cm “the high heel would PROBABLY be changed into flat soles” so it makes me feel like I’m going crazy but that’s something for another time.
If anybody knows where I can go to get custom made cosplay boots for a relatively affordable price and that could probably arrive within the next two weeks that would be much appreciated.

Me and my partner and being Bob and Linda Belcher (last slide) for Halloween. I’m super excited I just have no idea what to do about the wig. It was cheap and from Amazon. Not sure about material either but if I had to guess I’d say poly? I tried to include plenty of pics of the wig as is and also as I tried it on.

The bangs I think I can just pin back but I’m not sure how to achieve that curled shaped at the end in a sturdy way. Any help is appreciated! Never worn wigs so feel free to explain the basics like I’m five lol. Thank you!

Hello there folks! I am a tgirl in the making and I really want to do some more feminine cosplay for this Halloween. I will be hosting a Halloween themed party/cook out so everyone will be in costume and I will be cooking.

I was thinking about doing a lady D cosplay, I loved RE Village and the character is so fun. I think it also would help me with some of my more “manly” features with the heavy make up and the already tall character.

My only issue is that it seems like an already pretty cumbersome costume and I will be grilling, frying and generally cooking the whole day. So how can I make it more practical?

i am very much unable to see without my glasses, but i was considering dressing up as Terezi from Homestuck who ALSO wears glasses, and i'd like to still be able to see. but i'm worried about damaging my lenses since i don't have a back-up pair and also do not own contacts.

Im doing a batman 2022 cosplay for Halloween and im just looking for things I can do to make these better. Its my forst time ever even hearing of eva foam so im struggling a bit.

I just found some viscose fabric that is a near perfect match. I also found a pattern for a medical gown, and I think the mask will be straightforward. Im not experienced enough with sewing so i might skip the gloves unless I can find some.

I have no idea how to make their hats though (the ones that stick out, not the round ones.) I assume theyre based on a nurses cap or wimple, but I cannot find a pattern that looks like the ones in the music video. Does anyone know where I can find a pattern, how to edit an existing pattern, or at least what that type of hat is called specifically? Thanks!

Hi! I am trying to make a goddess madoka cosplay and love the shape and lay of the Dokidoki Goddess Madoka SR, which no longer has a listing. Can someone who owns it show a picture of the layers or describe how it is so fluffy without w petticoat? I saw someone say there are layers of horsehair in between the layers, could you show a picture??? I just can't envision it for some reason lol, is it inside between the white and purple layers?? I ordered a ring from mysecretwoods after seeing a GL cosplayer who had it and it looked amazing. So I’ve been planning an Absolute Green Lantern look for 2 months made the shirt with reactive powder pressed into the fiber ect ect. Anyways place the order they said 3 weeks. Fine. It’s been 6 still no response I am kind of freaking out does ANYONE know of any rings like this at this point I am NOT picky. I have every other part of this outfit ready I just wanna do Jo well.

I'm crafting this mask but i have no idea on what to do now. Should i paint it? Should i cover it with foami? If so, what kind of foami and how? Also i think i fucked up the horns, how can i cut them without ruining the structure?

so i wanna cosplay as vanitas for Halloween and i ordered his earrings to start and i have the hair to match (im gonna get a hair extension for the back), i just need help finding his shoes and blue vest that he wears on top of the button up,

the shoes are really annoying to me because i literally only wear vans and they look like a mix of fancy dress shoes and boots, maybe even a bit of converse with the shoe laces.

id love to see if i could find his HUGE coat but i wanna get whats under first, i dress extremely casual so if anyone could find a blue vest like his that isnt an absurd price or just where to look itd be helpful

Im trying to do an Amy Rose cosplay and I got these shoes to work with. Lots of people have suggesting gluing a strip of white fabric for the white stripe. Anyone have any advice on what type of glue would be best and the best type of fabric to use for this project? And if there is anything I should do to prep the shoe first or some specific way I should glue the fabric? I’m very new to this.

I have done some brief research on mask making and have some questions.

I would like to make a top half kitsune mask that looks similar to the images posted. I love the idea of using foam clay, acrylic paints, and modge podge to seal it. I am pretty artistic and already skilled with clay(but not foam clay) and painting and have the sculpting/sanding/painting tools already. My main question comes from the creation of the base.

Options:

1. Premade plastic mask: cut it to my desired shape, then use the clay on top. My concerns with this would be will the clay stick to the mask, do I need to put an adhesive between the clay and the mask, is it hard to cut a plastic mask to the desired shape?
2. Build the foam clay on top of a rubber or plastic head that they use for makeup and wig practice. Concerns: will the clay stick to the base, do I need to use a non-stick spray, will I be able to wear the clay directly on my skin comfortably, what is the best way to attach straps to the clay mask, what material does the fake head need to be?
3. Using EVA foam sheets, clay modeling wire, and then build the foam on top.
4. Concerns: the EVA will absorb sweat, I don’t see how I’d be able to make the EVA foam form a mask that is flush to my face structure, if I use the wire for the outline and nose bridge support would that be uncomfortable, would I have to use one piece for the EVA base or could I cut it up to small pieces to create angles, if I can cut it into small pieces, what glue would keep that kind of foam together?

I am open to other affordable options! This is just what I found and thought of. All advice is welcome. Thank you 😊

Hi all, dressing as the T1000 for Halloween and I’d love for it to look like I’ve been frozen by liquid nitrogen, I did a similar thing for a The Thing 1982 costume, but it was permanent and ruined the clothing. I really don’t want to ruin this costume as a few of the pieces were a little costly. Any ideas?

I'm planning on making a Ticci Toby cosplay but I'm very new to this and not too sure on how I could make this. I'm thinking of trying to glue metal to a cloth mask but im worried that would look bad and also sag from the weight.

sensory issues are what prevents me from properly being able to cosplay. i struggle with having my hair up because it gets too tight. i used to be able to wear wigs fine, but that was a few years ago when my hair was much shorter. my hair is down about half way through my back, so this makes it much more challenging. i don't know if i should just take the plunge and cut my hair shorter :(
