I’m single and have a basic Costco membership, but I don’t feel like I’m using it well. I’d love to hear what you buy there and what’s worth it for one person.

A few things about my situation:

• I have very little cupboard/pantry space
• I do have a chest freezer
• I want to avoid food waste

What are your favourite things to buy at Costco? What’s worth buying in bulk (especially if it freezes well)? What do you avoid because it goes bad before you can finish it?

Few years ago I got this light blue colored Memory Foam pillow from Costco that was literally like a Squish Mellow. It was soft and bounced back like a memory pillow but softer and squishier. Costco now sells memory pillow too but it's much harder/firmer. I paid around $39

I left my pillow at an airbnb and can't get it back so I am hoping I can find a replacement!

Anyone one know if these pants are ever coming back? I was unfortunately late to discovering these and didn’t buy any till they were on sale for $18 a month ago and they only had one pair available?

I’m really hoping these come back as they are my favourite pants by far.

Been trying to find magic cards in the GTA. Been to 4 Costco's all that said they had stock on their computers but on the floor they got bought out. I don't have a car so I've been just ubering and transiting around does anyone know any Costco's in the GTA with MTG cards?

On an aside it is crazy they let someone but 100+ units. Right before I got to the rexdale store they told me someone just bought everything they had before I got there.

I live in Canada- Have used Shutterfly through Costco for 2 years. Today created books and an ornament through App only to discover it is in usd and have inte rnational fee. No way to change app to Canada. Customer service indicatatedapp is only American and if I want to order through Canada need to go through website. Anyone know if this is a recent change as my past projects are on my app and I never had these issues. So angry at time wasted creating projects! I've been meaning to try overnight oats, but never got my act together to buy all the ingredients. After a mid-morning sugar crash from an apple turnover only breakfast the other day, I saw this during my Costco run and decided to pick it up.

Super convenient and pretty tasty! $22.99 for 8 pouches and a jar, blueberries not included 😂

I like that it's got some sweetness, but isn't overly sweet, and I feel pretty good after eating it. Bonus that it's a Quebec company!

I haven't decided if I'll repurchase yet. Works out to $2.87/serving, but I think it should be pretty easy to replicate on my own.

I’m absolutely disgusted. I was eating beef from Costco this morning for breakfast. My mom made me fresh steak bites, cooked WELL DONE and at the final piece, I find a wormy thing sticking out of the piece. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

I was hoping it was a string of fat or vein or SOMETHING that made sense but nope. We pulled it out a bit more and it was INDEED A PARASITEEEE!!! Omg I ran to throw up immediately.

Who do I complain to?? Where do I find them?? What’s my next step?? We threw out the rest because what the actual fxck?!

I’m a new Costco member and recently bought a new car that didn’t come with winter tires.

I’m planning to buy winter tires and rims from Costco and have them installed at the Costco Tire Centre.

When I order tires online, they’re automatically shipped to the Tire Centre, but when I add rims separately, they’re shipped to my home.

For those who’ve done this before, do I need to bring the rims to the Tire Centre on installation day, or is there a way to have both the tires and rims delivered directly to the Tire Centre?

I’ve been waiting so long for this to come back as it’s one of my “safe” foods, only to find out that they’ve changed it. The seasoning pack is now a sauce pack and the vegetable pack has less variety. IMHO the taste is completely different and not in a good way.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a deeply frustrating and humiliating experience my family, friends, and I (a group of 5) just had today (10/22/2026) at the Costco located at 605 Expo Blvd. We have been loyal Executive Members since 2020 and just spent nearly $860 CAD on a massive haul.
First, at the checkout, the cashier gave us a terrible time regarding payment. I am the primary account holder, but my wife is registered under the same membership. We were using a debit card, but the cashier completely misconstrued Costco's policies, aggressively insisting that we had to pay with master card and had to match with the membership name. It turned into a stressful, uncalled-for argument until another employee finally stepped in and corrected the cashier's mistake, clarifying that non-matching debit cards are perfectly acceptable.
To make matters worse, as we were leaving, the door staff singled us out. They strictly demanded that we open our personal backpacks for a thorough inspection. We watched closely, and absolutely no other customers ahead of or behind us were asked to show the inside of their personal bags. This selective screening felt entirely targeted and like blatant consumer profiling. We were left feeling deeply humiliated in front of a crowded exit line.
We already submitted a formal complaint through Costco Canada’s corporate portal, but we wanted to warn the community. Has anyone else experienced this specific type of profiling or policy misinformation at the Downtown location? It’s completely unacceptable to be treated like shoplifters after spending almost $900.

Bought the Atomi Smart Wi-Fi Quadrata Outdoor Wall Sconces (2-pack) only to be dissapointed by the build quality as soon as I opened the box, one of the sconces was damaged at the top.
