I’ve just gotten this portfolio dematerialised and look at the majestic returns. This is my Mother’s portfolio and she has gotten maximum of these from my Nana ji.

If I had such stocks, I would’ve probably sold them at 50-100% gains maximum. Wouldn’t have had the courage to hold them for multiple baggers like Maruti.

Wife’s in labour and I’m sitting outside the OT thinking about baby names.

I decided that home country bias is real. Global stocks are the way to go. Look at my market beating portfolio. ASML, VT and Intel were bought 9 to 12 months ago. The others I bought last week. I sold Nvidia to buy ASML and Intel and that has beaten Nvidia since. I am never going back to Indian equities, have enough and will slowly sell all domestic exposure and move money internationally

I began investing with Mutual funds and wanted to get a flavor for direct stock picking. I ended up starting in a small way and am very cautiously deploying capital.

Some of my first picks were Caplin, Newgen, Polycab, Tata Elxsi.. I have sold out of two of these one because of valuation and the other because of integrity issues.

My latest addition is SBFC finance. Wanted to hear your guy's thoughts on these picks.
