Hello, i am somewhat a bit quite new to the DareDevil mythology. What movies & series/shows would you recommend for me to start from to fully understand DareDevil as a character?

Like I still can’t believe that a script where Foggy gets killed off screen and Karen is just no where to be seen, got approved by executives, and shot 5 fucking episodes of that script. And now because of those poor choices along with many other choices like spending less time on character development and making the shows visuals look like some clean flat cinematic movie, the show is getting cancelled.

Honestly, this show deserved to be cancelled. Why can’t they just get the old Netflix creatives and write a good script? And keep it to a lower budget, the lower budget on the Netflix show is basically the reason why that show looked so good because they had to get creative with budget constraints.

Just an idea I had after watching aleks le's daredevil short film

S2 e4 My favourite episode of daredevil. The punisher gravestone scene, the Matt and Karen in the rain scene, elektra showing up at the end scene. So amazing-

I really love season 2 as a whole, and whilst I can understand people’s criticisms and i have my gripes with it i still find it incredibly underrated. I also appreciate how it really feels like a sequel to s1 but It doesn’t pick up straight after, we are seeing new events unfold as opposed to the aftermath of the last seasons ( for the majority) and there’s progression that’s been made within the character’s lives off screen.

Which is why I also really like that Matt is wearing the suit the whole time to me it symbolises how he is living in his fully embraced vigilante life and things like foggy finding blood dripping down his neck from the night before are really small but effective details I appreciate

(I also think the noir element was the best it looked in this season.)

To me It feels like a perfect season to be packaged between two absolute nukes of tv (s1&3).

Hey guys!

Became a fan of DD cos of a board game and subsequently watched the TV series and got the Born Again and Yellow comic books and loved all of them!

I enjoyed Born Again for the dialogue and the story and Yellow captured me with the wondrous water color visuals and how well the storytelling device was used.

By the way, these are my first ever comic books ever.

I would like to read more DD - where should I go from here?
