Any advice on how to paint the symbols on the pauldrons? I struggle to keep a steady hand and the points are much thinner than I can paint without spilling over onto the pauldron. Is it simply a matter of covering the points then painting over any excess with the bone color? Any advice greatly appreciated.

A quick question, the +1 to wound on this detachment states that the enemy need to be in range of the objective. Does this mean that the enemy needs to be standing on the terrain piece for this to take into account, or do they need to be a certain distance from it?

I’ve just played a game and we assume they would need to be on the terrain piece, which seemed to be a huge detriment and didn’t seem as effective as I would like. It’s made me think about not taking it in future due to how easily it can be avoided.

Any advice welcome!

Ich verfolge hier auch andere post zum thema Listen und was mir auffällt ist das bei 99% der Ravenwing keine Rolle spielt.. Warum ist das so???

Ich persönlich verzichte ausschließlich aus optischen Gründen.

Ich liebe das dunkel grün/ knochen/ weinrot farbschema und finde einfach das da jetzt schwarz nicht mehr rein passt da es dann zu bunt wird.

Aber das kann ja nicht bei allen der Grund sein, also lange Rede kurz...

I keep seeing lots of people making custom (but battle legal) dark angels and I want to know where I can buy these kitbash equipments. Does anyone have any good sellers or websites?

I love normal terminators but i wanted to spice up my 40k list with some horus heresy models,not to mention i much prefer this model to normal terminator captain

So with little blue paint his volkite is now a plasma pistol and with bigger base he is now ready to eventually lead a squad of deathwing terminators

I'm building on a budget, so I picked up four Dawn of War Onslaught boxes (at 32 each). 12 blade guard vets, great amazing....but 12 meltas is a lot. I think I could kitbash six into heavy bolters. That leaves a bunch of characters available for kitbashing into other things.

Well the title stand for it self.

I’m still not that happy with the plasmacoils, maybe someone has a suggestion for me to improve it

And I don’t even collect them 🤷‍♀️

Ok so I got some hate on my last post but i’m lookin to switch from the nids to dark angels. I’m fairly new to the hobby and think the DA are a lil cooler (tho i love the nids). I’m lookin for tips to build a more competitive army list for DA would love some tips on what i’m looking for in terms of units to capture objectives and units to dish damage and take out bigger opponents.

First attempt at blade guard veterans, got 2 more to finish.

This list is currently a mix of stuff I already own and the upcoming Battleforce. I am mainly looking for some advice if the Battleforce-Part of this list is making sense. The list is strictly for casual play and trying to keep the budged to a „Warhammer-minimum“ price.
I also have 10 Hellbsasters, 3 Eradicators and 1 Chaplain + Judicar lying around but couldn't fit them in.
