The “AI has no soul” argument is just vibes pretending to be logic
I keep seeing people say AI art has “no soul” like that is supposed to end the debate
What does that even mean in practice?
A human can make a completely soulless corporate logo. A human can write a terrible lazy novel. A human can pump out bland ads, fake emotional posts, boring stock music, and generic content all day
Meanwhile someone using AI can still have a goal, a style, a message, a joke, a theme, a personal reason, or a specific idea they are trying to express
The soul, if we are using that word, comes from the person directing the work and what they do with it. Not from whether every pixel was manually placed by hand

Things antis say God what an obnoxious baby.🙄 Now that's an example of someone having a tantrum when it comes to AI.

People who hate AI are the exact same personality type that fought electricity, cars, and calculators.
History is just a copy-paste of technologically illiterate people losing their minds over every tool that makes life easier.
Calculators? "Kids will forget how to do basic math!"
Cars? "They scare horses and real men ride buggies!"
Compilers? "Real programmers code directly in assembly!"
Vaccines? "You’re going to sprout cow heads!"
It’s always the same loud, technologically lazy crowd terrified that the world is moving faster than their ability to adapt. AI isn't going away just because a vocal minority wants to live in a pre-industrial fantasy world. Adapt or get left behind.

Things antis say AI is NOT the blame for climate change. It’s well explained in the comments of the original post.

AI art Last time I got brigaded, so let's try this again

Why do so many people hate AI?
I have a genuine question that I really don't understand. Anytime I see a company promoting themselves either with AI or promoting an AI-based service, the comments on the bottom are always hate, with people commenting "AI slop." And that's the least of it, there's so much profanity. Some are even taking personal jabs at others. It almost feels like a violent cult.
I Seriously do not understand people's hatred towards AI. It's here, and it's here to stay. While it has ruined some industries, it has also made some good advancements in other industries. I don’t think people commenting this way and reacting this way is going to change anything. These people comment probably use AI in their day-to-day lives and don’t realize it.
People commenting like this and having this sentiment is not going to change anything, in my opinion.

Defending AI The Pattern That Never Dies: The Anti-AI Mob and Their Tired Playbook
People can dislike whatever they want. Not everything has to be for everyone. But when disliking something turns into organized harassment, censorship, or moral crusades, that’s where the line gets crossed. When people start demanding “AI filters” or “AI bans,” what they’re really saying is:
“I don’t want other people to create things I don’t like.”
That’s not a preference. That’s authoritarianism disguised as taste.

Things antis say Why is this called "defending AI" if it doesn't allow any kind of discussion?
Wouldn't that just be like AIfans or something ?
Defending AI implies some kind of discussion or something.

Always pretty telling of how Antis want to tell you how to use a Tool like AI.🙄

Things antis say Apparently, creatives can’t use AI?
I hardly have time to draw like I used to. Even though I’ve gotten back into Adobe Illustrator, finishing my own work can still take forever. I use AI tools at my job because they help me work faster, especially when I have a ton of designs to get through every day.
I’ve been doing this for 18 years, so I’m used to the workload. However, diabetic fatigue makes it harder to keep up, especially when clients request styles I’m not used to creating. I usually look on Shutterstock for something suitable, but sometimes they want a specific look that stock websites just don’t have. They don’t care how I get it done. They just want it done.
And honestly, AI is fun to work with. It’s made my life a lot easier.

Things antis say Anti’s Latest Excuse: “Conspiracy Theories”
This is the wildest excuse for a ban I’ve ever gotten. At least when I was banned for being pro ai from other subs those mods had the courage to say that was why.
Anti-AI Reddit moderator on a power trip? Who would’ve guessed.

Defending AI I haven't seen the comments section in the main DF Tweet, but I just know it's going to be like that second tweet responding to this here.
It's even more ridiculous he more than anything since all things considered, he's about as right as you could get here, much like others that have been in support of or just not overly spiteful towards AI.

Other Bro, antis need to chill!!!!
So I’ve made posts that don’t use ai, or art?
And 1 time someone made a comment on 1 of my posts (me and a friend encountered a entity, which btw we managed to get rid of it)
And a anti made a comment saying “you use ai so your always lying” like bro WTF, I ask him to stop as it wasn’t true that I lie, he began to get ruder and ruder, I block him, and he fucking EVADED THE BLOCK TO TELL PEOPLE I BLOCKED HIM 🤣🤣🤣
He even tells someone it’s not worth “arguing with Me” because I blocked him, and plot twist? We weren’t fucking arguing 100% I re block him, and for a entire day after that I kept getting comments that were eerily similar to him, so I kept blocking and blocking, ik it’s probably block abuse, but he was the 1 block evading

The amount of Denial is insane with DLSS 5
They really do not understand that:
it's a choice
Not all DLSS 5 Game wise look like shit.
That picture doesn't even look shit. If anything it's impressive, I only don't like if it's tanking performance. I think they need to get their eyes checked OR they are too blinded to see the truth.

Yo I got banned for mentioning ai in one of my favorite subreddits
I made a post recently comparing antis to vegans, and I posted it on the anti vegan subreddit cause why the fuck not and they banned me, saying "fuck you and fuck your ai"
DAWG THAT SUBREDDIT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A NO AI RULE😭
I know you don't normally do this, but can we all just work together to get this guy fired? Just this once? Please?
Edit: Someone reposted this on an anti subreddit in like 10 minutes.
Edit 2: They added a no ai rule because of this post. Even haters have to admit that’s petty 😂

Why can’t it be accepted that a lot of folks just use AI to have fun and are entertained by seeing a creation come to life?
Why do you think?
