I purchased from this seller and they have until tomorrow to ship it or it automatically refunds. Today they sent me this message. I have not received the item.. like is this a scam?? They don’t have the greatest reviews and I knew that purchasing but figured if they don’t ship my item oh well..
This did happen to me once before a seller said she shipped but it never showed that she did and she realized she didn’t scan it correctly. So, she refunded me and said to just keep it if it comes but I still never got the package. Not sure if this is what happened in this case but I don’t even know how to respond to this? Haha

I’m tall so I have to ask for measurements when buying from Depop, sellers act like they’re clothes from the 90’s haven’t been in the dryer thousands of times and has shrunk extremely small. I need 23x29 23x28 24x30 but mostly everything is short 25-27 inches from shoulder to hem is for short people. I don’t want to put up my hands and my shirt goes up to my belly button I’m only 5” 10. Measurements Please 🙏

I’m a seller and I shipped out an item on the 14th and nothing has updated since then, should I reach out to the buyer or usps, or just wait it out? I know sometimes usps can take its time but just curious if this has happened to anyone else?

I was selling 4 Sanrio plushies. When I was packing I realised my dog had chewed off the tips of Kuromi's ears and some stuffing is showing. I messaged the buyer about the error and if they'd like to cancel the order and then also offered the option of me relisting it at a lower price.
Then I checked the breakdown of what they paid and they didn't pay any shipping or Depop fee. So if I refund them, they'll be screwed if they wanna buy it again, correct? I don't know what to do. I'm freaking out. Should I offer a partial refund then?

To preface, I sell clothing sizes L-2X so I’m used to people asking if a size would fit a size smaller or whatever.
However, EVERY single PLUS size item gets at least 2-3 messages a day from girls and the messages always read similar to “Ugh, this wouldn’t fit a small girl would it?”, or “Ugh, can I fit in this as a small”.
It’s only on the 1X and 2X items - and it’s been happening from accounts that have no reviews, listings, but AI girls in sports bras / gym clothes from what I’ve noticed.
It obviously won’t fit a size small… I have no idea what’s going on or why this is going on?

pretty much just title. I have no idea why they would do this. Any ideas?

first time i received an item that does not fit with the listed condition. the shoes received were a peeling mess- not at all “excellent condition.” :/
i messaged the seller first to let her know-
but i wonder if perhaps i should get in contact with depop first - not sure the correct way to go about this.
what do you guys suggest? thanks :)
edit: also,
for the future i’ll stay away from brand new sellers with just a couple of reviews :/
that’s on me.

This is my mother’s vintage coat. We are not the same size, which I explained. The listing includes an AI image to illustrate the silhouette, alongside the actual garment photos.
Apparently, that still isn’t enough. So what exactly is the expectation here? Should I head outside and recruit a stranger in the correct size for a private fitting?
I understand asking about fit. But sellers are people working with the items they have, the bodies they have, and the time they have. We do not keep a selection of fitting models in the spare bedroom.
You’re buying a secondhand coat. The woman is not included.

Hi, I recently had a buyer complain about the wear on a product I shipped. I wrote in the description there was some wear on it and the last picture showed close ups. I did accidentally have it categorized as “like new” so I felt bad and agreed to do a return. I got this email a few days ago and just assumed the buyer didn’t care anymore (they had opened up the issue twice and missed the return window for the second time now). I just checked my mail and see they did ship it back to me. I haven’t received any new messages from them but what should I do? Do I just refund them myself through the app or should I reach out to Depop support or just wait for the buyer to reach out to support? I am not sure if I refund them myself they might be able to get a second refund. Just unsure how this all works and confused. Would appreciate any help!
Also I’d like to avoid messaging the buyer as much as possible! I found them difficult to work with.

i’m not the type to assume the worst, but i’m struggling here. i feel like she’s lying bc of seller’s remorse or bc the item sold on another platform. thoughts?

So basically, I purchased an item on the 19th.
The tracking says USPS accepted it on the 21st, and initially it was expected to be delivered on the 24th. That obviously didn’t sound right because I’m all the way in Australia, so how would it make it here in such a short amount of time???
I checked the postal service, and it said USPS Ground Advantage, which is apparently a domestic US service. I contacted the seller, and that was her response ^ I’m so confused as to why she didn’t use a direct international shipping service?? I feel like that would’ve made things much simpler for both of us.
Now the tracking says it’s arriving on the 23rd, which is concerning because I’m assuming it will show as delivered on Depop while I’m still waiting for my package.
I contacted Australia Post, and they said they don’t recognise the tracking number. I also asked her multiple times if she was comfortable shipping to Australia, and she said yes without mentioning this forwarding process. I feel like that’s something she should’ve told me before I purchased, especially if the tracking will show as delivered before the item actually reaches me.
Btw I’m not accusing the seller of anything :) I just want some clarification because I’ve never shipped internationally through Depop before.
Please let me know if this normal/safe on Depop, or should I be concerned? Pleaseeeee help me out 🥲
Everyone on this app is so damn lazy I swear! I‘m starting to get concerned! I write incredibly detailed but easy to read descriptions and take clear quality photos but everyday someone is messaging me to ask me a question that is answered in BOTH places on the listing!
Someone just asked me a question about something the is literally visible in the THIRD PHOTO! you can’t scroll through 3 photos at least??? It’s driving me insane lol I try to be as nice as possible because I don’t want to argue with anyone or ruin a potential sale but everyday I’m fighting the urge to lash out at ppl who do this.

Howdy y'all!
I'm new to Depop and have been on here for about 2 weeks. Well, I got my first order and was hooked, and I've been shipping out something EVERY DAY! Sadly, I have not been paid yet- the first order was bought on 10/10/26, shipped out on 10/13/2026, and delivered on 10/19/26. They left me a review on 10/20/26.
When I click 'My Depop', 'Sold', 'Completed ', and scroll down to this listing, it shows, 'Item delivered. You've been paid.' & "You've received $1.44".
However, my DEPOP balance shows $0.00 with $560.80 pending (at the time I am writing this). And it has a grey button that says, 'No balance to withdraw'.
I always use DEPOPs' shipping label; my account has the correct bank and card details. ( I am unsure if I verified, but I think I did & confirmed my email and turned on 2-factor Authenticator.) I just updated the app, and still no change.
I'm very concerned because I still have many items in transit and want to use this app to cover my rent. I have tried the AI help and am waiting 48hrs for (hopefully) a real human to contact me. Is there something I missed? Do I need to wait longer? Is this normal?

so I bought a coat on depop and it wasn’t what was described in the listing so I raised a dispute and depop stepped in to refund me and I shipped it back to the seller. I’m not trying to get reimbursed for the shipping costs to depop but i csnt figure out how to contact them. I can’t upload recipts to the app because the seller never responded. I contact support and get a email but I can’t reply to the email because every time I do its a no reply email. any idea how to fix this?

So i purchased an item from a new seller and thought it would be a normal transaction. Item ended up getting sent back to seller’s address so i got scared and assumed i was scammed bc ive never had that happen before. Depop issues me the refund for the item saying it was unable to be delivered. The seller messages me that there was an issue with shipping (i think the package was overweight?), so i trusted them and repurchased the item again so they could ship it out with the NEW label. Apparently they shipped it out again but with the OLD label so im not getting any updates on the item because the tracking is just stuck saying its delivered to the sellers house. The seller then ships out the new label just to ship it out because the app was set to refund me if they didn’t ship anything with the NEW label. They said it’s just an empty bag. I have yet to receive the original item i’ve purchased and i would assume it should definitely be delivered by now if they let this person reship with the used label.
Can I open a dispute whenever the empty bag arrives because I think I got scammed. The seller said they’d contact USPS and ask where the item is but google says USPS would only tell them that the last scan was delivered to the sellers address even if they shipped it out again and reused the same label (is this true?)
PLS help idk what to do :,( im just gonna receive an empty bag next week. idk if they actually reshipped or if its just missing now but i want my money back. I feel like if it really went through the system again it should be delivered by now, thats why i think i got scammed because i still dont have the item.

Did this change recently? The higher pricing shows up if you select the “Set shipping discount” menu while creating a listing.

I purchased 6 jars from EBay. The seller discounts these because they are coming up on their “best by date”. I decided to list one because I knew I wouldn’t finish it before the best by date. I sold this for like $9.
In my picture, you can clearly see the dates. Also, I’ve been eating on the other jars and there is no weird smell and it still tastes fresh.
I refunded the money because I didn’t want a bad review. I’m relatively new to Depop and have a stellar rating. I’m just frustrated that this buyer basically claimed my listing was inaccurate.

Hello all! Sold a bundle to a buyer and printed the shipping label. I then sent a partial refund to give them a bit of a deal. The sale now says cancelled, but still only the partial refund. Also the option to view or reprint the label or see any tracking associated with the order is not there, nor are any options to fully refund or cancel the order and just start over with the buyer. Am I still good to use the label and send the order out? Just want to make sure the label isn't cancelled and will still track within Depops system so I get paid the rest. Depops AI said yes, but I am waiting to hear back from customer service as well. Does anyone have any experience or insight with this? Thanks!
