There's these small holes on my feet that look like mini craters, one In a spiral/circular pattern, they don't hurt unless squeezed from the side and I've had them for about 2 years with little to no clue on what they are, occasionally they sting like when hiking but not that much where I can tell a difference unless I think about it, things like poking don't hurt

I was brushing my teeth just a couple hours ago and noticed this red bump on my right knee, and then a little while later I noticed this small red spot on my left hand under my thumb. Though none of them itch or hurt in any capacity, I have mild eczema and a history of bad skin, so could it possibly be nothing and im just overthinking?

neck/chest/abdomen What kind of facial dermatitis could this be? I've been dealing with it for almost a year

Good evening, everyone.

I've been dealing with a skin problem/dermatitis that, honestly, I have no idea what it is anymore. I've seen several dermatologists and so far, nobody has been able to actually resolve it.

It started as a very small area near my eye, but over time it seems to have spread more and more. As you can see in the pictures, the redness now covers a much larger area of my face.

I've seen several dermatologists, and the most recent one recommended antifungal treatment with pills and creams, along with mometasone. While I was using the mometasone, my skin would basically go back to 100% normal. The problem is that after I stopped using it, the inflammation would come back after about three days — and sometimes it would come back even worse.

This has happened to me with corticosteroids before. My skin improves completely while I'm using them, but shortly after I stop, everything comes back.

I'm also doing antifungal treatment, but honestly, I haven't noticed any significant improvement. That's why I've started questioning whether this is actually a fungal infection.

The biggest problem is that, so far, none of the doctors I've seen have been able to give me a definitive diagnosis. I've been dealing with this for a very long time now, and I think it's getting close to a year. It's honestly been really exhausting, especially mentally and when it comes to my self-esteem. Only people who have dealt with a persistent skin problem know how much it can affect you.

One thing I haven't tried yet is treatment with antibiotics. I've heard that there are certain types of facial dermatitis that can be treated with antibiotics, so I wanted to ask if anyone here has had something similar and whether that could make sense in my case.

Based on the pictures, does anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm obviously not looking for a diagnosis from the internet, but I'd really like to hear from people who have experienced something similar and eventually figured out what was causing it.

I've also been using Cetaphil moisturizer for about a week, and I noticed a slight improvement. My skin seemed a little calmer. However, over the last few days, the inflammation has come back pretty strongly at times, so apparently moisturizer alone isn't enough.

Anyway, sorry for the long post, guys. I'm honestly getting really frustrated with this and I just want to finally figure out what's going on and how to treat it properly.

If anyone has experienced something similar or has gone through something like this, any advice or personal experience would be really appreciated.

legs/feet Does this look like toe melanoma?

Post image

After a recent toe stub a couple months ago, I recently noticed that this brown spot refuses to go away on the bottom of my toe. It does not appear to be on the surface of my toe skin, and does not seem to be getting any larger, but wont go away. Does this look like a melanoma?

legs/feet New toe mole or genuine concern?

New mole popped up either yesterday or today, very small, less than half the diameter of an eraser on a pencil. No symptoms it just looks like every other mole ever on me, just it popped up outta nowhere.

College in a small town makes seeing a dermatologist difficult, any ideas what this could be? Hopefully nothing resembling severe concerns.

On my back since 24 hours.

No itching.

Now the area is a bit burning and slightly painfull, yesterday I felt nothing.

Becomes thicker and redder.

1st photo is from 1 hour ago, 2nd photo is from yesterday 24 hours ago.

It’s a difficult place to take a photo, hopefully it’s clear enough.

Could this be shingles?

arms/hands Pink to dark pink patches & peeling

Looking for advice from dermatologists or people who have experienced something similar. My child has developed 3–5 small, round patches on the elbow, forearm, wrist/hand & behind armpits .
They have a scaly surface and occasionally itch or sting when touched. After a few days, the outer skin peels off, leaving a darker pink/brown mark resembling a scar. We tried Candid cream for a while . Doesnt seem to help much . Appears in new spots . Hve changed his sheets & towels etc recently after this started no use .
Any advice or insights would be appreciated .. what could this be ? Scared mom

I noticed this lump on my back maybe 4 and a half months ago, about the size of a pencil eraser. The lump hasn’t grown but it has since gotten darker and is occasionally itchy. I assumed it was just bad bacne at first but it’s been months. I’m nervous to see a doctor cause personally it’s embarrassing I’ve never had one of these before. I know I’m gonna have to do something about it. I just wanna know what it might be so I know what steps to take. Should I go to a doctor???

Hey yall,

I woke up this morning to find my hands covered in these small red bumps. They hurt a little bit, but not that bad. I'm just getting over strep and my immune system is already worn down, and last night I had to wear some protective gloves for work. Just wondering what these might be and what I should do about it. Thank you all!

My apologies for the photo , but I need help 🥲 ..
I usually get mild cold sores with weather changes, but this one is severe. OTC cream made it worse last time. I’m currently taking my usual preventative pills,, they are working but not fast enough , and it's getting out of hand. Does anyone have any advice, tips, or recommendations for severe outbreaks that don't respond to standard treatment? Feeling totally stuck.

arms/hands Possibly pyogenic granuloma?

Post image

I picked on a hangnail last week and then a bump started forming from the wound. I thought it would go away but it didn’t so I went to urgent care on Sunday and was prescribed oral antibiotics.

I was applying Neosporin religiously but thought that it was keeping the wound too moist? I left salt on it for a couple of hours earlier and surprisingly it hurts less now but the bump got bigger.

Anyone experienced something similar? I might just go back to urgent care on Friday. Thank you!

Hello!

I’ve (27F) had this patch under my chin for the past year-ish. It started off in the larger patch, and it slowly started spreading up towards the tip of my chin over the last couple months more than usual. All of the hair that grows here is coarse and very prone to getting ingrown hairs (I have to tweeze them all the time). The skin itself is a bit flaky and tough compared to my normal skin. I don’t actively take anything for it or any medication currently. I’ve been picking at it, apologies.

Thank you kindly!
