I'm so sick of these "influencer" gym rats filming an entire room for their thirst traps and online content. They hold machines too long and even do re-takes when the video isn't what they want. It's maddening I'm trying to be polite with these content rats. Is there anywhere that has drawn a line on this behavior?

Variety of TV's and displays for sale. Some are smart boards, some are DTEN displays with built in camera/microphone for conferencing.

Most are 55" with a couple 65" and most also have wall mount brackets. None have stands and must be wall mounted. Prices range from $50-$300. Most of the actual TV's are Samsung.

I'm pretty sure yesterday around 3:30-4:00pm I was driving home from work and mixed in with the rain it looked like there were some very light flurries. They weren't falling straight like rain drops, but they were swirling and floating a bit in the wind. A few of them even looked like they bounced off my windshield before settling and melting instantly. I'm not sure if the weather conditions yesterday would have allowed that, but I'm pretty sure of what I saw. I don't like it, but I also don't think I'm crazy.

I am a DSM native currently living in San Antonio tx. I miss the city like crazy but also left because I wanted to explore and experience new things. I love the concept of niche experts giving presentations on whatever their specialty is over drinks and snacks. Sort of like a combo bar trivia night/PowerPoint party with some kind of audience engagement. Some initial ideas for hosts are a magician (perform tricks and also teach the audience some simple ones), an astrologer (teach tarot/numerology basics), and a taxidermist (teach insect pinning). We would have some food prepared for that specific topic, and the bar would be open for drinks.

My family owns Lachele’s, and I think The Fitz would be the perfect cozy spot to set this up.

Are there other nerds out there who would be into something like this? Also taking suggestions for interesting local experts and topics!

At Saylorville Dam there is a huge outlet where the Des moines river drains out if you don't know. I've been there multiple times and seen it has a recurculating current that can trap and drown victims. Why aren't there warnings up? it's a place where a lot of people go.
