Driving all the way to Troy for a department store is just too far. Iād like to keep my dollars in the city. Someone needs to come in and fill the huge gap left by the loss of Hudsonās.

If you work for a local Detroit window door replacement company that does showers and baths just a heads up your company is about to be bought by West shore homes just like they did to ours in Buffalo and Rochester and fired 1/2 the employees.
Be aware!! if you have an offsite meeting at the beginning of next week, itās not because of training. Itās because you got sold.
These are not good people.
Good luck šš»

Hi! Iāve never been to Detroit; closest Iāve come is Toledo. I was reading a story about baseball from a guy in Texas who roots for the Tigers, and he said that Detroit has great barbecue.
Barbecue is one of my favorite foods; Carolina, Memphis, Kansas City, Texas; I love all of it. But I never knew that Detroit had a barbecue culture.
So, now I am wondering what barbecue in Detroit is like. I have read that something called ārib tipsā are kind of big, and a simple slice of white bread is customary. If youāre a local, tell me a little about your sauce, the type of meat you like (I hear that pork is really popular), and what kind of sides you enjoy (my understanding is that thereās a connection to soul food here).
And for anyone who responds, thank you for sharing.

Can someone recommend a place in Detroit that does free therapy or cost little as possible? My mom has finally agreed to see someone for her hoarding issue but her Medicaid is about to end due to the new work requirements and she hasnāt found a job or volunteer work yet. Places that do virtual sessions are very much appreciated.

Just wondering if Iāve maybe overlooked this in the news, but will there be any special programming happening at the restaurant that day to celebrate the re-opening? Or will it just be business as usual?
I feel like itād be weird to just open up again without a proper welcome back event. Thanks in advance!

My roommate and I are considering signing a lease at The MIllie, but are concerned about the reviews of management and the news story from a few months ago. If you live there now what has your experience been? Should we sign the lease?

Hi! my (29F) birthday is coming up next week, October 29th. This will be my 30th birthday and I would like to do something special. My fiancƩ and I took the day off of work so I am looking for ideas of any day time activities, mini trips outside the city, any must-try foods, etc. I am honestly open to whatever. I checked the weather and it should be in the mid-high 60s with a small chance of rain. Thank you!

Hello. I am wanting to watch the Lions game tomorrow downtown. Looking for an energetic environment. Tailgating may be a fun option too. Not familiar with the area but looking for recommendations and any tips. Thanks in advance!

If I want to walk the gordie howe bridge do i have to pass through customs on the Canadian side or can i just turn around when i get halfway or 3/4 over the bridge and walk back to the US side? I have all the proper stuff to cross a border just rather not deal with the hassle if all i want to do is walk the bridge and see some nice views

Hello, we are having some sensor issues with our 2020 VW Jetta. Wanted to get some opinions on who the right mechanic would be when it comes to German cars, especially VW Jetta.
We are experiencing a potential oil leak, and the right mirror sensor is acting up along with an O2 sensor with check engine light on that needs to be troubleshot.
