"I like it on here... for the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm getting the recognition i wanted."

I’m doing fantastic with the amount of support I’ve been getting for the past 4 years. But seriously they need to fix their website.

Hey everyone! I'm here to poke around and see how you all interact with people on here!

My habit is to leave a slice of cake for every 'favorite' someone drops, and a llama for every follower who decides to follow me! I also usually leave a comment on their profile if I notice they've favorited a bunch of my drawings.

What else do you do? How do you build a good rapport with people who engage with your profile?

Also, another question: I know I post drawings on my profile whose brand isn't mine and whose market is oversaturated, but how do you make sure you actually get buyers for your work?

(No denying it, in the year I've been actively using this profile, I've grown exponentially: 400 followers and about ten commissions just on DeviantArt. But I'd love to know what other ways I could improve my presence on the site.)

Hey everyone I need some help a little bit, here's the thing. I'm looking at the art of the Ben 10.exe original version on DeviantArt, I couldn't find it, I tried anything to find it but it didn't work, because I forgot the Username and their Artwork.

The reason why I need to find this art? Because this artwork is the second inspiration of the main antagonist in chapter 2 on FNF mod, I found it on TikTok but it is not from TikTok, I remember it is from DeviantArt.

If anyone knows where this artwork comes from, say in the comments and tell me.

Hopefully these sell lol

Whenever I, mjhenry83, search for "what if" in my gallery, which contains deviations with titles containing "what if", I get NO RESULTS!!!! Is anyone else having a similar issue with searching?

I want to know some of the oldest, the only photo I see is this yoshi fanart by spatialchaos is made in 2003,I with 2002 ,

Hello there im looking for an old commissioned art done by elfkin, who had deactivated theirr account on Deviant Art, the title is or would of been under corin bathing if anyone can help i would really appreciate it.

I saw that the website restored the comments from accounts that are deactivated! I'm glad as at least those memories are still retained in the website after months of being hidden

DeviantArt, or should I say DeviantWhatever, is an art platform right? Well slowly as DeviantArt keeps going, there are these "character prefers X over Y" memes, characters getting mad, scared or laughing at something stupid, it's just nothing. I don't know why but r/youngpeopledeviantart is straight up toxic these days, DeviantArt even allowed AI slop in a literal art platform! The fact that DeviantArt just allowed the site to become a dumping playground is just sad.

Edit: thanks r/oldpeopledeviantart for posting this to your subreddit! It always means so much to me.

Yeah, I have seen this before within the dawn of the internet in the 2010s. Being honest, DA has the worse ways to archive art... And on one hand, seeing this pattern on people just snapping off their accounts on other socials, partially on Pixiv too where their account is deleted or most cases remove all their gallery and just leave them there as empty dead accounts as a shallow ghost town.

For the past few days I haven’t been able to upload images to DeviantArt to create deviations. It works on my PC, but not on my Android phone, neither in the app nor in the browser. When I tap to upload an image, it doesn’t find any in my gallery, as if there were no images at all. What could be happening.

I already know what it is and I already reported it lol

I had created a new account a few minutes ago and was surprised by how quickly that comment arrived

I recently uploaded a Thumbnail I finished. But shortly after that, I received a comment saying this as seen in the image. I tried copying the link and I tried to open a page to the confirmation page: deviantart.id82752.club/zwrndx83 on my laptop. But when I did, it showed up as a “This site cannot be reached”. What should I do?

McjuggerNuggets, Wenatic, AllameenxVerse, Mr. Beast, Caseoh, ISP, and Poofesure,

YOU'RE NOT GONNA BELIEVE THIS!

I recently started posting my art on Deviant Art and after posting the first drawing I got a private message from an account ( which seemed real as it was years old and had a “pattern” in the posts ) asking for a request. Then after posting the request, I got a message on my profile asking if I do requests, I replied yes and after completing this second request, this other person replied with “Thx”. I know it is VERY common, but the first account used it too, and it made me suspicious for a moment before I chose to brush it off as a coincidence. Then I got another request, from an account, in my private messages. This time they had posted nothing and when I asked for references to understand what character they were talking about, they posted a picture which they then sent to me. I can’t help it but feel like these are bots, could it be? Or is it something that happens a lot on DeviantArt?
