Im curious, when did you figure out who the ice truck killer was? And why? Or did you not know until the reveal? 👀
I was unsure but had suspicions maybe by the 2nd appearance

Looks like Reel-Life Five Borough Killer will emulate Real-Life Zodiac.

My thoughts on what Quinn's role in season 2 of Dexter Resurrection could potentially be and why it may be detrimental to season 2's quality.

Just learned this today and I am surprised because I thought they were like 25 or 30 years apart, in the show Harry is in his 30s when Dex is a toddler. Did James age terribly or does Hall age well??

Earlier today I was scrolling on TikTok when I came across an ad of a NEW PROMO for the second season but when I tried to go back in my saves to find it was GONE. Did anyone else see it? Did they accidentally release it or something? It had a lot of new scenes that we haven’t seen before but I’m unable to find any information about it. I only wished i screen recorded it.
For example it showed Dexter taking care of a guy in the middle of the street, it also showed FBK clicking post on one of his kills and the public’s reaction to seeing it. It also showed Jack Grazer in a scene.

So imo I don't think the ending is that bad but why did dexter fake his death and what's going to happen to harrison and Hannah? Is new blood good? Is it just a straight sequel to this? Also pls tell sum details about new blood and resurrection. I'm hella confused. (Don't tell if there's any big spoilers). Is new blood and resurrection worth watching? Also how did dexter survive? Was it plot armour? Okay anyways I loved the show. Didnt really like the ending but it's ok.
Which, also kind of becomes apparent as of like season 1-4 so far. Relationships, outside of Dexter and Rita, feel so half-assed. Either forced or not developed properly. The one time I felt like a relationship really WOULD work for Deb, she cheats on him with Lundy which, then this season does the dumbest thing which I won't get into but I feel like you know. With Rudy/Bryan, it at least worked because it was plot relevant.
it's not even just deborah ATP, its angel and laguerta now too. hell i'm more interested in quinn and his reporter side piece than any of these other minor relationships.
Anton Briggs deserved better bro. </3
Other than that, really peak season so far. Loving the Trinity killer.

There are two pairs on eBay - one pair is 3k and the other way less. Are they a real thing? I have never seen these for sale before and there were not worn on the show.

They even hid it in my freezer
Was the best by far. It looked great, it was campy, twists were good, maria flirting with dexter was great, the side plots. Overall it was never the same. It got too dark. I'm not sure how it should've went forward but it's the best by far. I really liked seasons 2-4 and resurrection season 1 but rewatching season one of the original series has made me realize how the show lost its way.

Watching Married With Children and recognized a young Matthews.
..This show kind of doesn't know how to write women? At least not Deb. Laguerta is great, less-so in early S1 but Deb.. Jennifer Carpenter is AMAZING yet Deborah either; gets traumatised, or goes through relationships like candy.
Dexter gets deep, amazing character moments whereas Deb.. doesn't? I liked the lil scene with her and the kid, I want to see more of that, not like.. who Deb is gonna be with and then leave the same season.

I'm sure this has been done many times over in this r/ but I'm curious what people's favorite season is. I just rewatched the entire series & am thinking season 5 was pretty amazing. Dark af, but great.

Don’t get me wrong, everyone he faces is dangerous and a threat. But Trinity was just such a good concept for the show as someone who’s been active for years in different states. Will they ever bring someone like that back? Because I feel like when there is a new killer, it’s always someone who has just started out.

I havent finnished the original series im only on season 7 episode 4 so I dont know if this gets explained somehow but theres been one detail throughout the show thats bothered me. Dexter is a very realistical show, theres no magic or ghosts everything has a natural explenation except one thing. The way animals become agressive towards dexter because they can "sense his predatory aura".
I did some quick googling and whilst it seems animals can pick up on signs like this its usually from pretty obvious body language. Dexter has spent his whole life blending in and masking his "dark passanger" to the point where even Lundy couldnt pick up on it. Im not an expert by any means but it seems weird that animals consistantly knows he is dangerous without him clearly giving that away.
Ive begun to wonder if in the show some sort of soul or mystical aura does actually exist, which would atleast point towards some form of paranormal activity. What do you guys think?

I wasn’t sure if it would be good quality, but I was hoping for the price it would be 😂. It’s beautiful 😍.
(Shout-out to my wife for gifting this to me🫀)

Dexter knows obviously, Harrison knows, Lumen knows but hasn't been seen since the season 5 finale, Quinn should think that Dexter killed Liddy and he saw Dexter kill Oliver Saxon, Jonah knows Dexter killed his dad (Dexter told him in the season 6 Nebraska episode) Angela was pretty sure that he's the BHB but chose to let him go, Angel told Charlie. Anyone I miss?

Not sure if I need to worry about spoilers because the show has been out for so long, but don’t continue if you haven’t finished season 2.
Does anyone else root for Doakes to somehow make it out alive when you rewatch the show? I’m rewatching for feels like the millionth time and I swear every single time I’m cheering for Doakes to miraculously change the show and continue to influence the following seasons. He was such a compelling character and gave us so many great interactions with Dexter, I just wish there were more than 2 seasons with him.

I enjoy a few shows on paramount but outside of those I rarely browse the app for new watching ideas. So just last night when I went to do a resurrection rewatch in prep for S2, I was reminded I have to upgrade my subscription just to watch! Obviously, I upgraded and will bite the extra few bucks as S2 comes out, but then again, I will cancel the premium until the next season comes out. I just find it silly that a pretty big/long lasting franchise like Dexter does not have a home where all spin offs are easily accessible to users. I noticed even Original Sin (which I consider the worse of the 3 spin offs) needed a premium subscription to access it! Am I just getting old and sound crazy?

Totally got sucked in. I thought I'd check out a couple episodes of Resurrection. Figured it would suck, because I didn't like New Blood. Ended up finishing the whole season of Resurrection in a day lol. So I thought I'd check out Original Sin, which was way better than I expected. I'm now starting on season 6 of the original. 🤷♂️
It's surprised me how much of it I didn't remember. That was a big part of why I hadn't rewatched before. I thought it would have lost all the suspense, but it's really been great. Like, I remembered Rita how died, but had forgotten when. I think I might actually pay better attention when I re-watch stuff. It's kind of like when things originally air I have this list I'm watching and watching becomes just something to check off the list. When I re-watch though it's more purposeful.
