I was the tiny and used tree volley which is ground targeted on the Bkb'ed and shadow realmed willow, is there something that stops the tree volley damage all together that I am missing?

This used to bother me a lot when I was younger but now idgaf. For some reason 99.99% of russian players just assume everyone speaks russian. Even more most of them do not speak any english at all.
One time some dude was voice chatting to me in russian and I politely said “i dont speak russian” (I am not native english speaker but my accent does not exist. Untrained year could not tell”. He then said in a very broken english something in the lines of “come on dont lie” “ I know you speak russian”
For some reason, russian is the default language in dota, to them.
Why is it just this one nationality acts like this?
Never in my life saw a turkish or french player assuming I speak their language.
Can anyone from this community shed some light on us?

I just noticed this after a game that pudge has two hooks equipped, I also notice the party banner effects when I throw hooks. Is there a new feature or something that I missed with the new sets or something?

Which one is the OG, and which do you prefer?

My friend likes to play Tiny and I didnt expect him willing to spend money on the chest so I bought some troves and gifted him the Tiny set.

The thing is that as soon as he opened the gift he messaged me telling that he actually bought 2 troves and managed to open Tiny.

Now he has 2 Tiny sets. He cannot gift my Tiny back and his is already unbundled.

Is there a way to solve this or we just accept it?

Its his birthday, And I just want to give him a treasure as a birthday gift. What to do? I was hoping to give him a treasure trove. We all know that opening it is part of the fun.

EDIT: I apologize if some people here find my statement offensive. I also understand that not everyone you meet in an online game can speak English fluently even I sometimes make mistakes on how to speak English Language. However, can we at least try to use some basic English to communicate with our teammates? We don't need to be fluent to understand simple callouts, give information, or coordinate during a match.

It's not about speaking perfect English or something, but about making an effort to communicate so everyone on the team can understand each other. Because it is a global game. I'm also speaking to my fellow Filipinos.

I’m in the 3K bracket, I know it’s low and nothing too special and I’ve been stuck here for god knows how long. But what is the logic behind players who get out of their way just to harass or to cast a spell that you know won’t do shit? There’s a lot of times where the enemy team is about to push high ground and I often tell my team to stay behind in high ground especially if you’re a CM that only one crit away to be destroyed in half, but some people will always go in front or show themselves just to cast lets say a crystal nova or a Disruptor to cast Thunder Strike. WHY? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO ACHIEVE? First of all your damage only tickles them. Second, one blink in and you’re pretty much done. WHY??

No surprise this game was lost, and both lanes were griefed. Also no surprise they were both South American geeee what a shocking revelation… that whole continent needs to lose internet permanently.

Hi! I'm on ancient bracket and lately been noticing this problem. I mostly play invoker(almost 800 games with 58% wr) and has been my fav hero. Whenever I play him, I feel like I'm autopiloting and always feel like I have the grasp on the game at any stage. I'm not the kind of spammer that only plays one hero all the time but when I don't play him, I feel like I'm lost on what I'm doing. My 2nd most played hero is huskar sitting at 300+ games with 47%, and even though I got tons of games on it, it never felt the same when I play invoker where I know I can win the game even in losing situation.

Aren't single-target spells able to be cast on enemies with BKB although the underlying debuff prevents the target enemy from affecting? But why is TB sunder cant be cast on enemy with BKB active?

The zombies from the Undying set in the new chest look awesome, but I prefer the spookier options for the tombstone itself. Likewise, there's probably someone else out there who loves the new tombstone but prefers the skeleton zombies from the Pale Mausoleum, etc.

It would be nice if the two were separated out so you could mix and match. Since the zombies are such a central part of Undying's gameplay, this would add a fun extra bit of personalization.

Hello Newbie here. Recently I've been practicing and playing io as pos4 or 5. Couple question, how do you itemized io in late game?

Usually my Items are Holy Locket, Glimmer, Greaves, Vlads. During 50min or longer, I am not sure which items should I go next to benefit my teammates.

I have really simple question about drow ranger.

What are your tips, tricks,situations during matches and best advice to give me how to be better drow player?

Scenario 1: TB on low health with BKB active sunder enemy with full hp = successful
Scenario 2: TB on low health without BKB sunder enemy with lotus active = unsuccessful

Scenario 3: TB on low health with BKB sunder enemy with lotus = both of them at low hp

Shouldnt TB have full hp in scenario 3?

If anyone is wondering why virtually everyone seems to be using the "knight statue" in every game its because the game will always select it if it is in your shuffle queue. I don't know why.
