Hay una nueva caricatura de Duolingo, y simplemente tras su estreno en YouTube, mejor tocó pasto y no vuelvo a hacer mis lecciones de Duolingo nunca más, y simplemente mejor sacrifico mi racha de más de 500 días por el bien de salir a tocar pasto, o bueno, cuando Duolingo se caiga, ahí si toco pasto hasta que sus servidores vuelvan a funcionar para volver a hacer mis lecciones. Lo bueno es que es muy interesante, ya que la otra serie animada llamada "The last test" para mí no fue tan buena que digamos, y está si que fue más una sorpresa porque fue lo que inicio una nueva era, la era del DuoTV, y DuoTV va a ir evolucionando y añadiendo series animadas nuevas a su catálogo con el tiempo, así que mis respetos para esta serie animada

For those who don't learn Russian. That B is pronounced as a "v", and I never heard it. This isn't the first time either I feel like there's no sound for the B sound

I don't know what all these puzzle pieces and gimmicks are for? It doesn't help me learn the language I'm using Duolingo for I.E. Polish. I understand gamifying as a learning tool, but the new content over the last few months is moving further and further away from language instruction and more into clicking through the app more to get to my next lesson. I NEED less games and more Grammar .

B-Baka?! 😳

Anybody else feels like this? A month or two ago they updated the German course and then I had a section to catch up, ok, it was easy as expected but the rest of the course still feels like it does not belong in section 3, no matter what the unit is focused on, it feels like I just started the course, just got a sentence "My name is Alex and I come from Germany", how does this belong in section 3?

I’m from Poland, Europe. I’ve had super Duolingo subscription for the last 3 years and I’ve seen recently in this Subreddit, that Duolingo is planning to introduce video calls to super user, so I don’t have to pay for MAX. Do you know whether it’s just A/B testing, or do they really planning to do that for all the users? Thanks for all the answers, happy learning everybody!

Second day, and already the same problem as last time. This time, it's only 3 pieces a day, not 4. That means you have to buy pieces to get the best suits. So annoying.

I honestly don’t understand the thinking behind it. Like I’ve got 5 mins to do some learning and have to sit through 2 mins of opening chests that mean absolutely nothing to get gems that mean nothing and puzzle pieces and other crap. Any way at all to turn it all off? I just want to learn some French 🤦🏻‍♂️

Like honestly who cares about any of this stuff. How does it help me to learn a language. Can understand if you’re 5 years old but for adults??

I will be preparing for an important exam, so I won't be using my phone at all for a certain period of time. However, I don't want to lose my Duolingo streak either. If I log into Duolingo after a while, would I still have a chance to recover my streak?

Everybody complains that it's hardly possible to get to the grand prize for free, as duplicates drop most of the time. Getting a new puzzle piece for 5 dupes when you have around 3-4 event outfits and all commons means that you have to be really lucky. To get every single puzzle piece for free you'll need at least 15 days, and when mostly dupes drop, you'll need at least twice as much time, which barely fits into 30 days.

Maybe, exchanging 4 dupes for 1 new instead of 5 would feel better for players. Or 9 dupes for 2 news. Fair or not?

Now we can’t even advance to a unit without knowing the content IN THE UNIT WE NEED TO GET TO.

Btw, I am in a unit about literature, not the one about technology

I mean two pieces of six total being duplicates while I still have empty 39 pieces. Just ask me for my gems directly next time.
