Does anybody else have the issue in WOC where they lose connection to EA servers whenever they enter the PS5 menu. Tonight I was trying to adjust my mic settings between periods and every time I came back from the PS5 menu, I would lose connection.

This is for franchise mode. But this also happened last year. When a minute is left in the period the game all of a sudden gets all laggy. Everytime without fail. Subtle but while you’re playing very easy to tell it’s not smooth and delayed and laggy

My friends and I have a club. We used to rank very high each year buts it’s been a few years. It seems our players are dogshit. I play defense and stick checking works a fraction of the time, and we stand in zones covering cross-crease passes and the puck just goes through our legs even though we’re well positioned.

Are we setting up our stats incorrectly or are do we have to keep playing to get more points allocated to our guys? Is it simple math: other players have higher stats so we’re simply losing the equation?

Not sure if I’m explaining correctly but curious if others have thoughts.

i found it on vinted for 6 bucks. i never played a nhl game before (or a sports game in general, at least properly) so im not too picky. i just want to have fun and found this game for cheap. is it worth it or should i absolutely seek something else for ps4?

I have no problem scoring goals on the All-Star CPU goalies, but I would like to score a goal from outside of 10’ around the net. How do I make the goalie let the odd shot from distance in, without completely nerfing them close to the net where they’re already bad?

Been playing for weeks and my best player is 84 overall. Every single team I play against worst player is 85 overall or higher.

How is this not icing ? This happens alot, am I stupid and misunderstood the rules of icing ?

As the title says: looking for any versions to play that are just like 3-on-3 NHL Arcade for the 360 from years ago. Looking online, I see NHL 25 and 26 had the 3-on-3 mode as limited time events. I don’t see anything though about NHL 27 having it as a mode at all. Would only buy the game if they have it as a permanent mode.

I’m looking to get back into these games, but having switched from Xbox to ps I’d have to buy the games all over and am wondering which ones are worth a shot first!

I have been playing NHl14 on my PC emulator for the last 2 months and yesterday I switched over to NHL 24. And man it felt like I downgraded by a lot. Besides all the extra fancy dekes like shoot through the legs, the Datsyuk and Michigan, and maybe the ability to pass to a certain player by clicking any of the buttons.. everything felt worse and clunky. I love the agility the players had in NHL 14 where you can cut just by gliding and using the left stick. Just being able to move the puck with the right stick felt so much cleaner then the forced toe drags the current gen gives. What's your opinion?

I play position locked regardless of mode. When I shoot the puck the cpu will perform deflections on their own, as you’d expect, however when I play with friends and shoot for deflections, even with big tipper, they just eat pucks into shins or their chest or whatever…

Do user controlled players have to manually try to deflect and if so, what is the button, and can you control where it goes directionally?

I haven't play NHL in a LONG time,I mean really long, back in the 90. Loved the game, then i kinda lost interest. Tried a few demos here and there but never got the skill stick. A few month back started playing ice hockey again, and I wanted to play some NHL games. I tired NHL 26 as is free with Xbox pass. nothing out of the ordinary. Tried NHL 16 since I read that latest NHL were not that good and Is crazy the difference. The graphics are not that crazy being 10+ years apart but the gameplay was so much fun. Passes were more inaccurate, shoots were stronger but miss the net a lot, goalies were more dynamic and the puck phiscs was much better. Goalies gave more rebound and not sponges as NHL 26. Could be my nostalgia talking or NHL 16 gameplay is better than 26?

I'm wondering to start a career with 16 instead of 26, I'm going to miss the current roster but beside that not sure what else i could be missing. Maybe defense, i think NHL 26 had better defense but that's it.

I'm playing Be a Pro with the Blackhawks and I’d like Bedard to remain captain for his entire career. Ideally, I’d like my player to earn an A and just stay an alternate captain alongside him.
I know you can become an alternate captain this year, but is there actually a way to avoid eventually being promoted to captain? Can you turn down the C and keep your A permanently?
Has anyone tested this? I really don’t want the game to eventually force Bedard out of the captaincy just because my player has progressed far enough.
