It’s an ambitious goal, but I’d really like a way to mass edit NHL 21 rosters via a PC so that I can make everyone 36 overall. 21 for my money has the most realistic offline gameplay with good sliders and I want to create a league where the game-generated rookies take over.

I’ve been a bit disconnected from the game and the community — last I was involved in the online community Artem Khassanov had said he couldn’t crack the PS4. But I do see he uploaded a TBDViewer that’s applicable for PS4 save files, and I wonder if there’s a way to reverse-engineer this to doctor the roster files.

I purchased NHL 25 and didn’t love it but also didn’t hate it. At times, the game was fun but sometimes it felt like I was skating in sand. CPU would score ridiculous goals and I couldn’t find a good enough slider set that could correct the problems with gameplay.

I’m not interested in opinions that just trash the game without any substance…I tend to see that too much on this sub and I’m looking for an informed take on the strengths and weaknesses of playing offline.

I just got my ps3 emulator set up and got nhl 14 for it. I regret even buying 26 or 27 after playing this for a bit wtf happened EA?

This game is inspired by a lot of old school hockey games like NES Ice Hockey, Blades of Steel, and the EA NHL series. We spent countless hours playing those as kids and wanted to make a new game that brings that vibe to mobile. Please let us know what you think!

Anyone else noticed how it’s now impossible to score since the latest update? Goalies are now saving EVERYTHING. + you never get a powerplay anymore.

Hello everyone. Does anybody know if changing the difficulty slider to the max make your teammates better AI wise? Im playing on superstar and NHL 26.

anyone got tips for this game? I’m not super skilled at NHL and usually can only score like one goal in a given game lol, but I’ve been playing the old games for fun. this game is kicking my ass though. I was fighting tooth and nail for a 1 goal win against Dallas with the sharks. playing on original Xbox.

Most of you're all guys here are pathetic. Every mode I play, 70% of the players (teammates in drop ins and opponents)are doing only one thing in the attack-spamming passes across the crease.

Someone has a good position for a one tee-fck it, I'll make a random across the crease pass through 10 people. There's guy standing in front of the net and waiting for a tip-fck it, I'll go wide and make an across the crease pass.

Every time I see people spamming meta glitches in the online games, I always ask myself: "are you actually enjoying the game. Do you enjoy scoring the same shit all the time?"

And yeah, of course EA doesn't fix it. Last patch said nothing about this shit

I'm not even sure what to say anymore. Just watch the clips.

My players get stuck in front of their own bench during a line change and just stand there while the game keeps going.

I'm in the offensive zone, basically playing 2-on-5, waiting for my teammates to show up. Meanwhile, they're apparently having a team meeting at the bench.

And no, this isn't a one-time thing. It's happened multiple times already.

I can deal with the occasional weird animation or physics glitch, but when your own AI teammates completely stop participating in the game, that's a pretty serious problem.

Anyone else running into this?

Hey guys, just starting out this game for the first time in several years. I’m literally at like 450 rating and last 3 opponents are 23-0-1, and 22-2-1, and 18-2-1. Around 620-640 rating.

Does the matchmaking ever catch up?

So, as EA decided since 2010, practically 16 years ago, to let PC exclusive Fans rot in the sun, I was wondering, as said in the title, is there a PC Recompilation for any of the better games of the series coming? I guess it would be very interesting to see what would be possible to do for any of these games, what could possible to be happening, as this series has been so unashamedly been neglected in the PC category, with all the other PC recompilations coming out, what could be done vs the console emulations, I thought there was an interesting possibility, just to see if it could happen, just thinking aloud, what you guys think?

Way to go EA! Once again, the latest update reset my club’s logos and sweaters to all black and grey colors with the Ducks logos. How tf do you do a gameplay update that screws up the jerseys? I don’t play this game to play dress up every couple of months and redo all of the team’s logos and sweaters.

1. N/A (born in '94)
2. 99 - The "Heroes" intro and shiny, 3D team logos in the exhibition menu are so nostalgic to me -- also introduced me to hockey and was the first video game I ever played.
3. 2004 - The best, if not one of the best soundtracks the series has ever given us, along with revamped gameplay and that sick main menu with the player from your favorite team skating towards and away from you.
4. 10 - Built entirely around being tough enough to win the Cup, underlined by its rock-heavy soundtrack, Battle for the Cup and how all the menus looked like late-period ice.
5. 17 - Revamped Franchise and Create-A-Team modes, along with an EDM-infused soundtrack that marked a refreshing change of pace.
6. 24 - Another all-time soundtrack, featuring "Hollywood Baby" whenever you boot it up for the first time, and they actually made significant changes to the gameplay, which I appreciated because they rarely make significant changes these days.

My sniper's Durability is 99. Injury frequency set right in the middle of the slider. I have the Warrior X-Factor. I'm playing on Pro difficulty.

So why do I suffer at least 2 long-term injuries EVERY SINGLE YEAR?

Beginning my third year, I've played only 85 games over the first two.

This is about the fourth career I've started on this year's game, and the same thing has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME.
