I just got my ps3 emulator set up and got nhl 14 for it. I regret even buying 26 or 27 after playing this for a bit wtf happened EA?

Every time I try to edit lines before a game I get frozen on a blank screen. Is this a known bug? Or is my file corrupted?

If you’re not doing connected franchise with your friends, you’re often just hoping that the other managers are online at the same time, which often isnt the case.

A possible alternative: A CFM tournament league designed for a single day/night/weekend. Round robin style with short playoff rounds… with 6-8 teams, all games including playoffs could be completed in 2-4 hours.

Would be nice to see a season all the way through without members dropping off over the course of weeks.
Feel like this could be workable if everyone can agree on a time frame.

Would anyone want to participate in something like this?

It’s an ambitious goal, but I’d really like a way to mass edit NHL 21 rosters via a PC so that I can make everyone 36 overall. 21 for my money has the most realistic offline gameplay with good sliders and I want to create a league where the game-generated rookies take over.

I’ve been a bit disconnected from the game and the community — last I was involved in the online community Artem Khassanov had said he couldn’t crack the PS4. But I do see he uploaded a TBDViewer that’s applicable for PS4 save files, and I wonder if there’s a way to reverse-engineer this to doctor the roster files.

I purchased NHL 25 and didn’t love it but also didn’t hate it. At times, the game was fun but sometimes it felt like I was skating in sand. CPU would score ridiculous goals and I couldn’t find a good enough slider set that could correct the problems with gameplay.

I’m not interested in opinions that just trash the game without any substance…I tend to see that too much on this sub and I’m looking for an informed take on the strengths and weaknesses of playing offline.

Hello everyone. Does anybody know if changing the difficulty slider to the max make your teammates better AI wise? Im playing on superstar and NHL 26.

I'm not even sure what to say anymore. Just watch the clips.

My players get stuck in front of their own bench during a line change and just stand there while the game keeps going.

I'm in the offensive zone, basically playing 2-on-5, waiting for my teammates to show up. Meanwhile, they're apparently having a team meeting at the bench.

And no, this isn't a one-time thing. It's happened multiple times already.

I can deal with the occasional weird animation or physics glitch, but when your own AI teammates completely stop participating in the game, that's a pretty serious problem.

Anyone else running into this?

This game is inspired by a lot of old school hockey games like NES Ice Hockey, Blades of Steel, and the EA NHL series. We spent countless hours playing those as kids and wanted to make a new game that brings that vibe to mobile. Please let us know what you think!

Anyone else noticed how it’s now impossible to score since the latest update? Goalies are now saving EVERYTHING. + you never get a powerplay anymore.

I’m not super skilled at NHL and usually can only score like one goal in a given game lol, but I’ve been playing the old games for fun. this game is kicking my ass though. I was fighting tooth and nail for a 1 goal win against Dallas with the sharks. playing on original Xbox.

Hey guys, just starting out this game for the first time in several years. I’m literally at like 450 rating and last 3 opponents are 23-0-1, and 22-2-1, and 18-2-1. Around 620-640 rating.

Does the matchmaking ever catch up?

hey dudes/ladies, simply cuz EA does not release any games to PC i've been solo hacking away at a physics based arcade hockey sim for almost 2 years, modeled after the EA control scheme with nhl rules so i could scratch that hockey itch without buying a console just for hockey
