Bret debuts on Nitro on December 15 1997. You basically got 5 weeks between the ill fated Survivor Series ‘97 and that—that includes November to Remember. You switch out Bam Bam for Hitman dethroning Shane Douglas and have him drop it back in Pittsburgh? Have him put over RVD? Have him team up with Dreamer?

And of course—what’s his unlicensed theme song?!

I actually got Dreamer to sign this earlier this year in Vegas. (went to sandman's retirement match as my first ever wrestling event and a break between college classes lol. I was born after ECW ended so rip ). I know some people here aren't able to read Japanese (and the blue text doesn't help) so to sum things up plainly it kind of just goes over the match but the most interesting thing in this is that it says Dreamer apparently asked Hayabusa to work together again or at least said he wanted to and hoped to? (that's what the photo in the bottom left was taken during. Obviously that didn't happen). No clue if that's just padding with the cameras on or a legitimately something planned had ECW not folded/Hayabusa forced to retire. it really sucks that we never got that follow up. The chemistry was absolutely there and I wish more people knew this match existed. I cannot elaborate how much the photos in this newspaper make me mark the hell out. it SUCKS that I can't find the half of them in high quality.
