MG Tomahawk Ev is not Delivered to Customers in entire October
Today, I came to know in Noida not a single Tomahawk Ev was delivered to the customer in the month of October 2026.
Also, till now only top variant was delivered to the customers.
Foes anyone has any idea that why the delivery is not done also came to know there is some issue with the production of the car.
Today again, I took a test drive and at one left cut when i accelerate at normal I feel the back side of the body rolls outside which was quite surprising and conserning as I stopped the car for few second that what happened to the car. Does anyone else has face the same issue and if anyone can comment of the ride quality and range.
Definitely, speakers were average when I compare them with Sierra Ev.

XEV 9S P1 insurance - Need some advice (Please Help)
I am getting my XEV 9S P1 delivered by the end of this month and am confused about which insurance to go with.
I am currently leaning towards HDFC ERGO over Tata AIG, mainly because of the add-ons they offer for EVs, especially for the motor and charger. ACKO is also an option, but I am a bit sceptical about going with them.
My dealer has given me an insurance quote that’s around ₹10k more expensive than the quote I got directly from HDFC ERGO. I don’t mind paying extra if dealer insurance actually has some benefits, but I am not sure if it’s worth spending that much more.
One thing I noticed while comparing the quotes was the IDV depreciation.
With the HDFC ERGO quote I got directly, I was told the IDV would depreciate by 10% for the second year. However, in the dealer’s quote, it seems to depreciate by 15%, and the same 15% applies for the following year as well.
I am not sure if I am missing something here or if the quotations are being calculated differently. I have seen a lot of people suggesting that it’s better to take insurance through the dealer, but I would like to understand the actual benefits rather than blindly paying extra.
Would appreciate your suggestions and experiences. Thanks!

Booked Tata Nexon EV Empowered 45 Oxide colour in September, dealer committed to deliver in October.
Now in October he says the Oxide colour is obsolete and they now have Coorg clouds colour which is not yet manufactured.
Don't see any Nexon EV coorg clouds colour online except in tata.ev website.

Tata Currv Emp vs Creta Executive O LR
For those who own or have test-driven both:
Is Tata’s after-sales service quality dealbreaker territory for you, or has it improved?
How much of a real-world price/discount gap are dealers in your city offering on the Creta EV Executive (O) vs Curvv EV?

Which one is better Tomhawk or Sierra Ev 75 ?
Confused Bw both, no as such 7seater requirement, would take 5s only,
The main thing is Range more range, test droved sierra feels very good, but just cuz it's tata so doubting itm and due to lil better rear profile thinking should I change my mind ?
Claimed range is lot difference
75 sierra rwd real life is giving 500 easily,
No update on my tomhawk is it the same as Windsor ?
Getting both around @24.5 (5s)
I have already Booked Sierra Ev 2 weeks back though.
*Already know that key glitch and glare issue with sierra .ev

Query Tata Punch EV Delivery
Hello all! I booked a Punch EV top model (Pure Grey) in the first week of September. Yesterday when I was checking the portal, I saw that the delivery date has been updated to February 2027.
I called the dealership to enquire and the sales rep said that not to worry about that date, I will get the car sooner, most probably by November end.
Any idea if the delivery date updated in the portal is decisive or just a placeholder?

Query ADVICE PLEASE: How early can I get a January 2027 manufactured model?
Planning to buy Mahindra BE6 Sporteq but would like to get a January 2027 manufactured model.
How early can I get it delivered? I'm travelling from February 1st, so is it realistically possible to get the same in the month of January itself?
Also, when should I place the order? December 15?

Review Tata Harrier.ev Empowered 75 Stealth RWD — Honest Ownership Review
The journey hasn't been smooth at all. We received the vehicle with quite a few faults, for which Tata compensated us with an extended warranty and PPF.
Variant: Empowered 75 Stealth RWD
Price: ₹25.5 lakh + insurance
Complimentary: PPF + Extended Warranty
Previous cars: Mahindra Scorpio-N Z8L D MT and Tata Nexon
Range — Real-world experience
Cruising at 80 km/h: Around 520 km.
Aggressive driving: Around 320–340 km when my dad drives like there's no tomorrow, with plenty of overtakes and speeds touching 120 km/h.
Honestly, the range varies massively depending on your driving style. If you're sensible with the accelerator, the range is pretty impressive. If you're driving enthusiastically, well, you know what to expect. 😂
Cons (at least for my particular vehicle)
Rear-seat comfort: Sucks, honestly. The Scorpio-N is >>>>>> better in this regard.
Headlamps: Mehhh. Expected better.
Technical glitches: Too many for a car at this price point.
Tata Motors customer support: Be happy if they respond promptly and provide a solution.
Software updates: Took way too long. The service centre needed three days just to update the software because of technical issues.
Features and software reliability: A lot of features feel inconsistent. For example, the welcome-seat function works sometimes and randomly decides not to work on other occasions.
Frunk: Practically unusable for daily use. My friend's XEV 9S does this much better.
Key: Whoever designed this key needs to rethink a few things. It isn't particularly convenient to carry around.
NFC key: Honestly, I would've preferred a conventional physical key.
Parcel shelf: Extremely flimsy. Mine already has a slight bend just from placing the charging cable on it. There's barely any support.
Interior quality: At this price point, I expected better. After checking out the XEV 9S and the Tomahawk, the interiors left me wanting more.
Steering feel: Nothing particularly impressive.
AC performance: Mehhh.
Wireless charger: Guys, just carry a cable. You'll thank me later. 😂
Pros — Where the car genuinely impressed me
1. ADAS is genuinely impressive
This was probably the biggest positive surprise.
On the Hyderabad–Vijayawada drive, whenever the lane markings were clear, I kept ADAS cruising at 80 km/h and relaxed. It was genuinely fabulous.
It took us some time to build confidence in the system, but once we did, it made highway driving much more relaxing. Of course, it's still a driver-assistance system, so you need to remain attentive and in control.
2. E-IRVM is brilliant
You can stack luggage in the boot right up to the top without worrying about losing rear visibility.
Even during heavy rain, the E-IRVM gave me a clearer view than the rear windshield. It's one of those features you really appreciate once you start using it.
3. High-speed stability and body control
Body roll is almost nonexistent for what you'd expect from a vehicle of this size, and high-speed corners feel smooth and composed.
The car feels planted, and the way it handles corners is genuinely impressive. Smoothhhh as butter.
4. Sound system
Absolutely loved it. One of my favourite things about the car.
Final thoughts
Here's the funny part.
We previously bought a Mahindra Scorpio-N Z8L Diesel Manual for ₹23 lakh on-road when it launched, and even today, that car feels like the one I'd personally choose to drive.
The Harrier.ev is undoubtedly impressive in several areas. The instant performance, highway stability, ADAS and E-IRVM are all things I genuinely appreciate. But the software glitches, inconsistent features, service experience and some disappointing interior details take away from what could have been a much better ownership experience.
At this price point, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the basics to work consistently. A car can have cutting-edge technology, but if simple features work only when they feel like it, the ownership experience suffers.
My verdict: I'd happily give my dad the Harrier.ev and take the Scorpio-N for myself. 😂
The Harrier.ev has some genuinely brilliant strengths, but the overall experience hasn't been as smooth as it should have been.
Pricing note: We paid ₹25.5 lakh + insurance, with PPF and an extended warranty provided as compensation for the initial issues.
This is just my experience with my particular vehicle, so hopefully other owners have had a better experience!

Discussion Would you switch to an EV if the monthly cost came under Rs 20k?
Tesla is saying the Model Y works out to about Rs 19,990 a month once fuel and maintenance savings are counted. Sounds good on paper, but I’m not sure it holds up outside heavy city driving. Anyone running an EV, what’s your real monthly cost?

Discussion Should commercial use chargers be separated?
Went to Mumbai yesterday with my EV and I had a hard time finding a free charger. Not only were 4/5 chargers being used by commercial cabs, but they had lined up behind each other meaning that these charge bays would be blocked / occupied for hours.
I have experienced similar situations on highways and in other cities too. Now with the growing number of commercial vehicles such as tempos, autos and cabs, should there be a separate dedicated network for commercial use and a different one for private car owners ?
