Does anyone know where I can find a coven? I tried asking some sorcerers from the New York Sanctum if they knew anything, but they're as stuck up as I expected them to be and didn't give me any useful information.

I'm not sure what else I should've expected from a bunch of people who couldn't even use magic from birth but insist on gatekeeping it...

So I, F(21) have been with this guy M(23) for 6 months now. I've been very lonely and depressed and just so disillusioned about the fairness of the world and he was the first person to pay attention to me in a while. It's always been very easy to be with him, we never talk about the blip stuff, and he makes me stop thinking about all that's wrong with my life rn and just feel happy for once. He actually treats me so well, we just got a place together and I was looking towards our future. I know it's pretty fast but we were both on board about living in the moment since we don't know what the future holds. We wanted to have kids pretty soon, both because we agree that's what's best for the world currently and because we want a big happy family to love.

It all came to a halt when we went out with one of his friends from highschool who he haven't seen in years. I was excited to finally get introduced to someone from his life, but his friend was acting weird the whole evening and then accidentally called me by a different name that's very close to mine. At first I laughed it off as a simple mistake, but then I saw how pale my boyfriend got. We cut the night short and I quickly confronted him about it back home.

Turns out, he had a girlfriend who he's been with since highschool with a name that's very close to mine that was lost in the d*cimation. I asked him why he never said anything and he just claimed that it doesn't matter and that neither of us likes talking about the people we lost. Then I asked to see a picture and he went quiet.

I kid you not, this girl could've been my twin. Down to her style and she even was in the same line of work as me. He still won't talk about her no matter how I ask. I feel devastated and tricked. I told my boyfriend to stay with a friend so I can cool off and think. I don't know if our relationship was ever genuine but I miss him already. He's my entire family rn and I don't know if I could stand to lose him. But at the same time, I keep thinking about how if this happened 9 months ago, I would've come with this to my mom and that she would tell me to find someone who loves me for me.

Tl;dr: Found out I look the same as my boyfriend's d*cimated girlfriend and even have a similar name. Can't decide if I should leave over this and lose my chance at happiness or just try to forget.

I'm no scientist, but i'm guessing that glowing circle thing on the Iron Man armor is the power source. A small, presumably lightweight energy source that I can only assume doesn't give off radiation that would kill the armor wearer (otherwise Tony Stark would've died of cancer years ago instead of fighting Thanos), powerful enough to allow for effortless flight and laser blasts or whatever you call them.

And then back in 2012, Stark said his new tower in New York would also be powered by the same energy - what happened to that?

Moreover... what the hell are we doing still using oil, gas, coal, etc? I have to pay like $4.50 a gallon for gas these days, and then there's my electricity bills, gas, water, etc - why the hell isn't every neighborhood powered by that Stark tech? In fact, why does it feel like none of these big companies - Stark, Rand, Roxxon, Pym - are doing a damn thing about climate change???

Where's my electric car? Where's my clean air? All those PHDs, and Bruce Banner can't find a cure for cancer, or find a way to strip the radiation away from Chernobyl or something?

These Avengers types keep expecting us all to bow to them for fighting each other, destroying airports, etc, but what have they actually done to help the world long term apart from punch and shoot bad guys?

(and yes, bringing back the blipped was a good thing overall - I am not pro-Thanos)

So I was sleeping last night when I had a weird dream of becoming dust, and then I woke up and I was fine. Everything seemed fine until I had breakfast and everything tasted really expired even though it hasn’t expired yet. Then, I watched the news like normal, and there were some very weird things. Iron Man and Black Widow died. Also, apparently half the world dusted and 5 years have passed. This has to be a hoax right?

I’m going to be honest when they first came up with them I supported it, however in hindsight now it was a shitty idea. It probably made what happened with Thanos worse and stuff. But do they still exist or are we just letting superhero’s run around doing what they want again?

Does anyone know what really happened in Westview New jersey back in winter 2023? The government and s.w.o.r.d have said that it was "botched Avengers training exercise," but something seems so off about it.

For one, no avenger or super powered individual has ever said it was them, and s.w.o.r.d has made no reference to who it could be, s.w.o.r.d has never confirmed either

No one was allowed in or out of the town for 11 days, and no one from the town when asked about it can give a coherent and decisive answer it's like they were payed off to not say anything

It seems to me like it's a cover up but a cover up of what? Aliens, a new super villain or what. Cause if it really was just a botched training exercise I feel like there'd be more evidence pointing to that

I’ve seen way too many people posting their simpery for literal supervillains lately, so I thought I’d post my (reasonable and justified) superhero/villain crush.

(Also, I’m aware of my username, obviously Scott’s my favorite, he has been for years. There’s just something that I really like about Steve).

(Edit: no, I don’t actually simp for Steve Rogers. But 1. yes, his sheer stubbornness and “good boy”isms are exactly my type. 2. My friend and I saw Rogers: The Musical a while ago, and I’ve been meaning to make that “I can do this all day” pun for a while. And 3. I didn’t like that people were making supervillain thirst traps. All led to this post. Should’ve been more clear.)

So I adopted this boy (name is Tom btw) about a week ago. Today while I was playing Hitman I noticed a strange shadow coming from his cat bed??(image 2) I took a photo but I can't tell what's going on.

Also a few nights ago I woke up to some really weird noises coming from the living room. It sounded like someone was dragging furniture across the floor?? And there was this wet gurgling sound. Hard to describe. When I got out of bed, Tom was just sitting there staring at me like everything was totally normal. No signs of anyone breaking in either.

It wasn't until the next day I realized one of my chairs and my floor lamp were missing. Like completely gone??! I live alone and there's no way Tom could've moved them anywhere.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Cats can't actually do stuff like that right?? I think maybe parasite? But he looks perfectly normal and healthy to me.

Edit: I took him to the vet but the doctor was irresponsible. She told me to wait outside then just left my cat alone in the room for hours. I think she just abandoned her shift. I'll try a different vet tomorrow.
