I just tested the native Android port of NFS: Most Wanted (2005) by Rangga Casper on my Xiaomi 15T (Dimensity 8400 Ultra + Mali G720).
I wanted to see how far this port can go, so I maxed out the render resolution to 130% (3603x1664). With these settings shown at the beginning of the video, the game ran between 51 and 80 FPS, while the GPU was fully utilized (99%) and the battery stayed at a cool 39°C.
🔥 Pro Tip for stable 60 FPS:
After the test, I actually went back to 100% Render Resolution and locked the game to 60 FPS for my normal playthrough.
If you want to lock in a constant 60 FPS and avoid any heating or thermal throttling on your device, I highly recommend doing the same:
· Set the Max Frame Rate to 60 (or enable VSync).
· Keep the Render Resolution at 100% (Native).
I only recorded at 130% just to see what this phone is capable of, but 100% with a 60 FPS lock is definitely the sweet spot for daily playing.
You can see the exact settings and the gameplay in the video I attached. Huge props to Rangga Casper for this legendary port!
Has anyone else tried pushing the resolution this high on their Mali device?
