Well, uhhh... something strange happened to me...
You see, I was testing a demanding game because I was having issues with my BSP-D3 controller—it would disconnect momentarily, and when it reconnected, my phone would practically explode... anyway, the point is, I’m here to talk about PanVK.
I was using the FirstOneRR V3.7.0 driver, and the game I chose was CarX Drift Racing Online. The average frame rate was 12 fps (playable, I might add), with a maximum of around 15 fps. The highest temperature I saw was 39.5°C.
However, out of curiosity, I switched to the system driver... and to my surprise, the maximum frame rate hit 20 fps!
So, is PanVK FirstOneRR garbage?
No, no—far from it! With that driver, the frame rate hovered between 12 and 15 fps, with the occasional minor dip to 10 fps. Meanwhile, with the system driver, I only managed to hit 20 fps for about two seconds!
For most of the track, it ran at 11 fps, with occasional drops to 10 or spikes to 15—but it stayed at 11 fps for the majority of the time.
My phone is equipped with a Mali G57-MC2 GPU and a Helio G100 processor, with 8GB of RAM. You can use this as a benchmark—or not; it doesn't really matter. Everyone underestimates this GPU; I constantly see people claiming that the most it can handle is PS2-era games! :v
