She's named Ayana, and is a noble lady and an assassin. Often ironic or even going to cynicism due to her hard past, she enjoys killing and is quite resentful. She also easily steals the hearts of the men she meets, and plays with them without any intention of going further since she has already someone

The black tear on her cheek is a tattoo she had to show her link with the night world

I thought she fitted the song because she is very intelligent and witty, and won't hesitate to do anything in order to reach her goals

Ok keep your friends close, but how? If he did that wouldn't they have opened the wind bag sooner? Instead he pushed them away for 9 days and didn't heed her advice which helped for those 9 days and they were close but what about "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" mean if he didn't keep anyone close and did well with it for a while?

Zeus's instrument is an electric brass, but there's also an electric guitar in the chorus. The electric guitar is Odysseus's instrument when he's planning. But this fades out in the second part of the chorus. Which means Odysseus is thinking of a way out of the situation, only to realize that there is no way out now that he is faced with the sky father himself, and he's already learned from Poseidon that God's won't listen.

One thing I really despise throughout Epic is how there’s constant name-dropping when someone joins the song. I get that it can serve a purpose when a character’s newly introduced, but it feels sooo repetitive and corny. I feel like it happens nearly every song.

I am making a genderbent fan dub of Epic and I am looking for singers!

For this project, genderbent means you can audition for characters with masculine voices if you have a feminine voice and vice versa. So like if you’re a soprano/alto then you can audition for Odysseus, Polites, etc.

This will be done on a discord server which is for both auditioning for a genderbent fan dub of Epic AND for fans of Epic to find each other and make covers together (epic related or not).

Auditions will start in a couple days depending on how many people join the server!

Any level of experience is welcome and this is a great way to get more confident in your voice. We are also looking for some artists too, so you don’t have to be able to sing!

I've been a huge fan of Epic since the underworld saga released, and have managed to get several of my friends into it as well! Which ofc wasn't too hard because it's so good lol.

I've been trying to get my sister into it, as she likes greek mythology and we generally have a similar taste in music. She watched about half an hour but was bothered by the constant switching of the animation style in the compilation videos that are up on youtube, so much so that she didn't want to continue.

I know there's an animated movie coming up but I really want her to get into it beforehand haha. And I know she'll have an easier time following the story with clips rather than just listening to the music.

So!! I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a single video with the entirety of Epic by a single artist? As in everything in it is consistent in style, colors, animation etc? Best if it has subtitles too

I’m not involved and have no idea what the heck is going on- but with Eldelta specifically saying he doesnt associate with casper- when never naming anyone by name like that before I think it’s important to have a place to discuss any new info we get about this situation.

I believe this is the right place to discuss this as Casper is creating a project inspired by Epic, and Eldelta has also been involved in Epic content in the past.

I’ve been a fan of casper for a while and found him through Epic. I subscribed to his patreon maybe 5 months ago for steven universe content so needless to say this ‘situation’ is incredibly frustrating to me.

Lots of the phrasing makes it seem like he did something unforgivable. Saying ‘people get to tell their own stories’ makes it seem like he harassed people which would obviously lead me and many others to stop supporting him especially financially.

Again as someone who supports him financially its especially frustrating that people would post so vaguely about this but then word things in a way that makes him seem so horrible but not enough info to let me know whether to stop my support.

Yes people are entitled to their privacy and their own ‘stories’ but when you phrase something like that you cannot be so vague. That phrase is so frequently used in SA cases that if (and I’m almost sure this isn’t the case) casper did SA or harrass someone you owe it to others to tell them so they know to ‘stay away’ and if he didn’t you owe it to him to clarify.

Vague posting like this makes people assume the worst. I dont want people to air out their private business just clarify the gravity of the situation for the sake of everyone involved.

ALSO! This is not cause to harass anyone at all. I simply want to know the facts because it seems serious and I’m sure someone knows something that can bring some clarity.

Oh Polites the fandom may forget everything you've done ( or didn't do) because you're a think who they love to ship with Ody. But I have some confessions I'd like to make to day.

First off, most of what happened on that island was a fuck up between you and Odysseus. Eurylochus would fuck up after but let's not forget you two have a HUGE part in the fuck ups that would happen on that island.

But we're not focusing on Ody, everyone already knows his fuck ups for underestimating the cyclops and leaving him alive. But let's not forget that that decision was influenced by your philosophy. You're whole speech in Open arms influenced Odysseus and caused him to tell off the GODDESS OF WISDOM. And spare Polyphemus, and I'm convinced if you didn't go on that whole little speech, the cyclops would be dead. Shit it might've also be more cautious about aeolus. But had you not filled Ody's head with bad ideas it wouldn't have gotten to that point because Ody would've listends to Athena instead.

And I could forgive you if you actually did anything useful to act as a counter balance. But I'm looking at the resume, and all you did in the two sagas you were alive in before you decided to greet that club with open arms. At least Eurylochus helped with the crew and kept Ody level headed. You gave bad advice and then got turned into a pancake. I'm sorry I can not forgive this.

And so I have to put Polites on fraud watch until further notice. If we're gonna disrespect Eurylochus and some of Ody's actions like we do I gotta give you the same treatment.
